Been here?
This quiet, well-maintained motorhome pitch beside the Roseggerhof inn lies along the Drau cycle path, with views of the Karawanken. Electricity and fresh water are available at the pitch, while toilets and showers can be used in the inn. The restaurant serves meals, and breakfast rolls can be ordered the evening before; a bakery is also nearby. The surrounding area offers canoeing, fishing, natural lakes and cycling.

Everything great for the price.
Very well-maintained and peaceful site. Super-friendly staff.
The absolute worst! We called beforehand to ask whether there was space and whether we could eat here. Yes. The reception was unbelievably unfriendly. We wanted to order food, but it had to be ordered before 6 p.m.! The waiter sorted it out. Five minutes later we had fried schnitzels with four half-boiled potatoes and lots of oil on the plate. The pitch cost €25. NEVER AGAIN!
Very pleasant and peaceful pitch next to the inn. Electricity is included. Fresh water can be topped up at the pitch. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Pastries for breakfast can be ordered at the inn the evening before. There is also a bakery nearby.
Nice motorhome pitch with electricity and water. Toilet and shower in the inn. Great views, idyllic. The food in the inn is delicious. The staff at the inn are very friendly.
Perfect for a stopover on the way to Croatia. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Showers in the hotel room. You need to be able to handle the operator’s manner.
Super well-maintained site for a stopover, with a restaurant and everything a camper needs.
Warning! Although half the site is still empty, they send you away because they want to keep spaces free for reserved motorhomes and regular guests. Outrageous. Either equal rights for everyone or none at all.
Large meadow in front of a guesthouse with beautiful mountain views. Delicious food in the restaurant and breakfast at the bakery opposite. Toilets unfortunately close with the restaurant. Showers cost an extra €2. €38.80 for four people including pitch and electricity.
Peaceful pitch for one night next to the inn.
Nice place for a stopover, but a very unfriendly welcome from the operator. Toilet and shower are okay.
Very unfriendly welcome. An older person insisted on parking us between the two campers that were there, even though the field was completely empty. When we asked if we could park somewhere else, the registration form was snatched from our hands and we were sent away. Glad we left!
We have just spent one night on this very pleasant site. We paid €27.40 for our van and two adults, including electricity, water and taxes. Showers were extra at €2 per person, but they were very clean and comfortable. It is a shame there are no facilities for emptying grey and black water; otherwise we would have given it five stars.
We had a lovely stay here, well maintained and great views. It was a little overpriced at 34 euro for 2 adults and 2 children but we didn't complain as it's a nice site with slow reach to Worthersee.
Excellent pitch for a stopover. I was here with the caravan and everything worked perfectly.
Lovely grassy camper spot, in a barrier-controlled area. We were welcomed very warmly, and the great thing is that there is an excellent restaurant with a covered terrace. A real blessing after a long drive. We used the toilets in the restaurant and did not look further. You can dispose of rubbish and the toilet cassette properly; I don’t think grey water is possible. Bakery and supermarket very close by. Great place for an overnight stay.
Very friendly and accommodating service, beautiful site.
Very nice, inexpensive site and super-delicious dinner! We would gladly come back anytime! And contrary to some comments, EVERYONE was kind and friendly!
I arrived this evening with a motorhome and dog. I was welcomed warmly, and the services are outstanding compared with other sites in the area for €21.70, including the shower. Black water can be emptied, and the courtyard looks very inviting and rustic.
We know the site and have otherwise been very satisfied. You park well and the restaurant is great. We wanted to stay there again on our way to Croatia. Because of the rain, the meadow was not drivable, which is understandable. But we were immediately sent away without discussion, even though there was only one motorhome on the site. With a little more flexibility, it would have been possible to assign us a place.
At first, a young man welcomed us in a friendly manner and asked us to wait a moment. Despite the rain, he wanted to find somewhere for us. However, while we were waiting, an older man sent us away very rudely. The site looks very nice, but because of such baseless, unfriendly behaviour, we will not return here even in good weather.
A lovely meadow for an overnight stay with views of the mountains. You have to accept that you are assigned a place and that it is very busy even in September. It was nevertheless very peaceful, and we would gladly come back on the return journey.
Friendly, uncomplicated welcome. Great dog-walking paths nearby. We enjoyed the food in the inn. We would gladly come back.
Very unpleasant welcome. The owner insists that campers park tightly together, with no discussion possible. We changed places anyway! The price requested was higher than indicated, and we were given no explanation. The site seems quiet, but the church bell rings every quarter of an hour, including at night! Avoid!
Quiet place with good food. The language barrier prevented a warmer welcome, but it was okay, with good value for money. €150 for four people including the meal and aperitif—I have experienced much worse. I even suspect there are things to do around the lake, but we only stayed one night.
Coming from Croatia, we ended up at the Rosegger Hof. The area is very beautiful and the night was quiet too, apart from the church clock, which rings every 15 minutes. The senior owner assigns you a place that you must not leave under any circumstances—otherwise there will be trouble. He is not very friendly, but we didn’t care. The food (fried chicken) in the restaurant was excellent.
We did not experience the hospitality other reviews mentioned. I assume our mistake was placing a small blanket out with our baby's toys, because he shouted angrily that we were damaging the grass. I immediately put it away, but it was too late. He wanted us to leave immediately after we paid. I don't understand how somebody can be so unkind.
Thank you very much for the hospitality. Good food in the inn. Gladly again!
Excellent stopover, made very welcome, Bar sells 1st class beer and food at very reasonable prices. Staff really friendly and helpful
Always happy to return; perfect for a stopover. Toilet and shower available during the inn’s opening hours, bread roll service, and the inn serves good traditional food.
Top pitch with great views. The host is very nice. We had dinner at the adjoining inn; the calamari are highly recommended! We continued our journey well rested the next day :-)
Beautiful, well-maintained pitch with mountain views and walking opportunities. Great for travelling through to Slovenia. A small animal park is within walking distance. The pitch is run by the Roseggerhof, where you can order and collect bread rolls for the morning. Dinner at the Roseggerhof was delicious and the landlord always friendly. We would gladly come back!
We were sent away immediately.
It was a great stay on the way to Croatia! Friendly check-in and check-out. Very tasty food, highly recommended.
Okay, €23 for a 3.5-ton motorhome for one night. There is a catch when reading the price board, but the owner does not want to understand. Apart from that, a very beautiful site in a lovely location. I recommend it, but beware of the billing.
They sent us away because of the rain.
