Quiet and pleasant place. Clean sanitary facilities. Children's playground. Terrace with table and chairs available, plus a barbecue. We paid €8 for the night. No electricity.
Very peaceful and with everything you need! I recommend it!
Wonderful woman. We arrived late and she wasn't there, but everything was made easy and she was very kind. The village is very special, with its murals and history. THANK YOU!
We stayed here for just one night. A magical place in the heart of nature, respectful of the environment, with cherries available freely and all services included! For only €4... We will come back. Thank you very much to the owners.
Very good, simple and peaceful. I paid €4 for an overnight stay for two people. I didn't need a shower or electricity. Recommended.
Warm welcome. €8 for a van, two people and two showers. Barbecue available. One men's toilet and shower, and the same for women. Sink. Waste-disposal area.
Very nice site. The gentleman opposite at the restaurant opened the gates for us. We were there alone for one night. There is a trough for washing clothes. We put €10 in the letterbox without using the showers. It would be good to have a letterbox and envelopes at reception. We liked it here. It has everything you need.
Great campsite, all you require & more. We nearly looked for another campsite as the gates were shut but a gent from the cafe across the road opened them for us. We are the only ones on this site & it's great. The ladies WC also has a hair dryer which is good. Reception not open so we may have to do what the previous visitor did & leave our payment somewhere. Not sure where though at the moment.
Very peaceful night; all services are available. For me, the only negative point is that the waste-disposal area is very deteriorated. Another very positive point is the price, although I consider it fair given what the site provides.
We spent two nights at this lovely place. We paid €22 for two adults and a van, including electricity and showers. The town is worth visiting. Fine toilet and shower facilities. We would gladly come again.
Quiet, well-equipped and very clean campsite. When we arrived, the shop was closed; as indicated, we called the owner, who replied quickly and gave us all the necessary information. The same happened the next day when we left. We left payment for the night in her letterbox. Don't miss visiting the village and its museum.
Perfect area for relaxing in nature at a very low price. The old village is home to an ancient carnival ritual that is a UNESCO heritage tradition and is decorated with very beautiful murals. In addition, the surroundings offer spectacular views, there is a lake with a large equipped beach, and a whole series of paths surrounded by very varied vegetation, with centuries-old chestnut trees, firs, almond trees, etc.
Good park, I went there but it was closed. I only had a phone number, but nobody answered, so I don't know what happened.
A very good place, spacious pitches, clean bathrooms and showers, washing area and barbecue with tables, play area. The owner is very friendly. There is a river beach very close by; although there were many people, the large grassy area made it very pleasant.
Spectacular, organized and clean park, with the Azibo reservoir 3 km away.
It is small and peaceful. The site is flat, but there is still not much shade because the trees are still growing. We found reception closed, but after calling the phone number on the door and speaking with someone from the campsite, we were able to enter. We had a very peaceful night. Recommended!
Small, well-arranged campsite, barbecue available, very well-designed sanitary facilities. Restaurant right opposite. If nobody is in the shop at the entrance, the phone number is on the door. The pitches are very large; the trees are not yet very tall, so there is little shade. Village nearby and lake 3 km away.
The site apparently was closed, but we called the number written at reception. They told us how to get in, so we stayed to visit the Careto museum the next day.
We were unlucky; it was closed today.
Very pleasant place, with all the facilities needed to spend the night and stay for a few days. We had the experience of being there during the Chocalheiro carnival, and the site was always peaceful, with clean toilets and lovely hot water, plus a pleasant outdoor area for barbecues. Sofia, who runs the site, is very approachable and helpful. Finally, I recommend visiting the Craft Workshop on site.
We were there on 14/06/25 and spent the afternoon there after having lunch 200 m away at the little museum restaurant—€20 per person for everything, really good value (they speak perfect French). The night was very quiet after doing a load of laundry. Roadworks forced us to leave after speaking with the site manager. There was nobody at the office, so we left an envelope.
Excellent campsite, very organized, clean bathrooms, with hot water in the showers. We arrived at night and left very early, so we cannot comment on the surroundings. But the night was very quiet.
