58 Rua da Marginal, 4495, Póvoa de Varzim
Been here?
This parking area is about 50m from the beach and is suitable for visiting Aver-O-Mar and Póvoa de Varzim on foot or by bike. Recent overnight stays were calm, but there can be night-time vehicle movement and shouting, followed by many walkers in the morning. It is shared with cars and is better suited to smaller vehicles. There is a sea view, but no water supply.

Good for parking during the day. At night, too much traffic, too many cars coming and going, and people shouting instead of talking during the night…
I loved the peace and quiet here; I will come back.
spent 1 night here. I thought I was going to be bothered by the wind and the sound of waves, but I didn't. had a good night, but the van was full of saltpeter in the morning. Had to wash the windscreen to drive.
Quiet place on August 1st. Indeed, walkers pass by early in the morning in front of this parking area to walk along the beach. The night was quiet.
Thanks for sharing. Parking shared with cars. We had a good, quiet night. More suitable for smaller vehicles so as not to cause an obstruction. The surroundings are not great, but it is quiet at this time of year. Many walkers pass through here. Beautiful sea view.
We spent the night alone, but had a peaceful night. In the morning there are lots of people walking, and we also took the opportunity to walk along the seaside boardwalk.
We had a good night's sleep and woke to the sound of the rooster. Lots of people walk along the seafront. Pleasant, well-maintained promenade.
Spectacular place. In the morning, several people pass by for walks or exercise. Very peaceful.
Quiet place to spend the night and close to the beach. Lots of people use the beach path in the morning.
We were there two rainy days last week.. 50m to the beach, not the most beautiful but fine for a walk on a rainy day.. A lot of foot traffic with walkers doing the Camino de Santiago and locals visiting the beach but quiet at night for us. Everyone very friendly too. Not a whole lot to see in the small towns around and make sure you have cash if you're buying anything.
A bit bleak in the rain. One other motorhome was there, and many walkers on the beach path walked through the parking area…
I totally recommend it. I would only add to the previous comments that it is also great for dogs and that the Camino de Santiago passes through here. Very good service and atmosphere at the nearby “Nortada” bar. I’m not giving it 5 stars because there is no water, which I have taken into account in other reviews. But it is great. Thanks, locals! Please respect us and we will respect you. And thanks to everyone who writes on this app!
Quiet place for beach walks. The residents are very friendly. The village has a rural character; you are woken by the rooster and the sound of the waves. There are rubbish bins, but no other services. Plenty of opportunities to stay and spend the night along the beach. Thank you to the village.
Calm and peaceful place. When we were there, there was only one motorhome. Direct access to the beach. I recommend it.
