Been here?
This is a quiet, secluded forest parking area beside hiking routes, with a castle ruin uphill and a view from the higher ground. The gravel surface is not very level and can become muddy in rain, with space for only about 3 campers. There is no electricity, water or other service, and daytime visitors include hikers, cyclists and dog owners.

Idyllic place on the edge of the forest, quiet and secluded. Busy during the day with hikers and dog walkers. Great hiking opportunities. The area is gravelled but not very level. A bit muddy when it rains.
Very quiet place to spend the night. The hiking trailhead is a plus; the path climbs, but the view at the top is really nice! Only three spaces for sleeping. In the morning, cars arrive to park and go hiking.
Very quiet at night. Lots of cyclists and hikers pass by during the day.
A very beautiful, quiet place for one or two smaller campers up to 6 metres. Many people walk here, so please leave room for local walkers as well. The volcanic ruin at the top offers a fantastic panoramic view. No facilities, so please leave the place tidy!
Since everything in Engen was full, I came here instead. Top spot. Quiet, lots of nature, and completely alone. Hiking and cycling routes start right here. There is a riding stable farther back, so cars occasionally pass by. Otherwise, top views and great for dogs. Thanks very much for the tip.
Quite nice, but larger vehicles already have difficulty standing level here. 4G reception is not good, but still bearable with one or two bars.
Very good, we had a very good night's sleep. Cars come to park and go for walks. Fairly level and very quiet.
