Been here?
A scenic daytime parking area beside two beaches, with narrow access and limited space. Overnight parking is prohibited, and police have ordered vehicles to leave after dusk, with fines of 500€ reported. Public toilets, beach bars, and shade may be available, but services and bars can close outside the season. A 7.20m motorhome has managed the access road.

The site is spectacular. We slept there for one night, but in the morning, while we were having breakfast, the police came to tell us that what we were doing was considered camping because it is a “DUNE AREA”—a term I had never heard before, but I was not going to argue with a police officer either. Obviously, I packed up and left quickly, hoping I would not receive a fine.
Perfect place, just the sound of the waves. Wonderful views. We came with a 7.20 m motorhome and, although the access road is narrow, it was no problem at all.
Quiet place most of the time but with some noise in the night from late visitors to the beach. Narrow rough road mostly level. Very busy during sunny days. No services and all beach bars closed in October.
We were just next to this spot; in September there was no problem parking along the beach. This peninsula is really lovely.
Quiet place, toilets nearby.
It's over—the town council has finally decided to ban it. On Saturday they woke us up at midnight; they have put up a sign prohibiting vehicles from parking between sunset and sunrise. Those who stayed were fined €500 for parking, whether they were in a motorhome, campervan or car—the ban applies to everyone. They copied the model from the beaches of San Vicente do Mar.
The place is really great, there is plenty of space, even shade if you are lucky. Two large beaches and two beach restaurants :)
Dreamlike. The water is blue and crystal clear, the beaches are beautiful and there are many pitches. It was very crowded at the weekend, but in the evening you are only standing in the front row with a few other vans and have a wonderful view of the bay in the morning. There are many rubbish bins, and the beach bars also have toilets (portable toilets, if you like). I think there is a foot shower in the front bay.
We parked to the right of the toilet. A 6.50 m alcove motorhome. At the end of November we had the beaches all to ourselves. We had a peaceful night with a beautiful view.
Such an idyllic place. We were alone at the beginning of October; it was very quiet and there are two beaches right on your doorstep. However, you should be self-sufficient. The toilets were closed, probably because it was the off-season. There was also a beautiful sunset. Absolutely recommended.
Beautiful location with sea views right next to Las Pipas beach. Be careful not to park in the very middle because access is narrow. If you pull over to one side, there is room for several camper vehicles along the road. Very quiet day and night outside the season.
Great place, you can spend the night well and are right on the beach! Please note that it is a car park, meaning no camping behaviour and no putting chairs outside. It would be a shame if the place were closed!
Excellent place to sleep and visit O Grove. Fantastic views right by the beach.
In August it is overcrowded, and if a car parks badly, it creates a bottleneck and you cannot move.
We slept well, although the site is not very level. It is right by the beach, but in August it is far too overcrowded. I do not recommend it during high season. There are beach bars nearby.
Great. Right on the beach and with a beach bar. Lots of shady spots.
Wonderful! We spent two nights there in our van; you are right on the beach and there are toilets too (reasonably clean). Worth repeating!
Great for campers. Next to the beach. Services are open during the day. Motorhomes are more difficult, although we did see some.
A great place to spend a few days and nights for vans and motorhomes. Several small beach bars with toilets, and with a bit of luck you may see dolphins.
Good place to spend the day and night right by the beach; perfect for a van but somewhat more difficult for a motorhome. Beach bar and toilets right next door.
Right by the beach, beautiful. At night you may share the space with five other campers. No noise and very peaceful. There is a public toilet open (in good condition) until the lifeguards leave; at night it is closed. Great experience!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SLEEPING RIGHT BY THE BEACH. There are several beach bars for eating and having a drink, and a beautiful promenade with lots to see.
