A firm, level parking area at the National Archaeological Reserve Yailata, offering quiet nights and excellent cliff views. Walking trails explore the archaeological, geological and ecological surroundings. Toilets are available, and entry has recently been 6 leva. The area is usually peaceful, with very few daytime visitors and nobody around at night.

For us, a fabulous spot for three nights over a weekend. Great view and walks along the cliffs and around the area. Interesting archeology, geology and ecology. Very few visitors during the day, no one around at all at night. No rubbish, no stray dogs barking at night, just an occasional chorus of Jackels.
Slept very well. Quiet despite the noise from the flags. A lovely walk. Toilets. 4G OK
Perfect paved parking area. The archaeological park is absolutely worth the entrance fee.
Nice tour of the ruins and cliffs, entrance fee 6 leva. Quiet at night, although the flags flap loudly in the wind. Everything is tidy.
In April 2025, I spent an absolutely quiet night here with a beautiful view of the Black Sea. I was completely alone and no entrance fee was charged either. The circular hike is recommended and manageable for anyone with sure footing.
Very beautiful place. Pure nature... I cannot agree with the previous reviewer. He always writes negative comments anyway... What a shame...
The fortress is somewhat neglected and has been completely disfigured by wannabe archaeologists. The cave church and cave dwellings are worth seeing, and we were happy to pay 6 leva for them. We would not want to spend the night here, as cars are constantly coming and going. There are several quiet and peaceful overnight options in the surrounding area. These places are even listed on P4N.
Very peaceful! Beautiful walk through the archeological site along the cliffs, we didn’t have to pay the 3 lev in October. Stayed one night, wanted to stay another but next day a man inspected our van whilst holding a case, when he saw we were there he asked where the view was (it is very obvious where the view is!). We believe he was looking to break in so we moved along to be safe.
Lovely spot to stay and watch the sunrises and sunsets. Lots of interesting history to explore on a nice 45 minute circular walk. We stayed 3 nights and although we did have a visit from the local police after the first night it was no problem and we stayed 2 more nights (we did make sure to pay the 3 lev pp site entry fee each day).
