Been here?
A quiet gravel parking area for about 4 vehicles with beautiful views of the fjord, mountains, and waterfalls. The narrow single-track approach is challenging and continues for about 8-9km, so small cars and vans are recommended. The water below offers swimming, with an organic toilet, fire area, bus stop, and small shop nearby. There is no public waste disposal.

This is a fantastic spot so quiet and peaceful, but indeed may be a little challenging to reach due to narrow one lane street with oncoming traffic. With our T5 easy to maneuver. Slept great, gorgeous lake view and super quiet night. Thanks Bruvik!
Absolutely wonderful. Stayed 2 nights with a 7.5m motorhome. One way road but people are very kind and will often back up. Clear water for swimming and clean organic toilet. Also bus stop and small shop nearby. Thank you Bruvik!
The approach is somewhat adventurous because the road becomes extremely narrow in places, but the site is truly beautiful and definitely makes up for it. Don't be discouraged; there are several “No Camping” signs along the way.Translating
Spacious spot with a beautiful view! We were completely alone here. The road there is narrow; oncoming traffic can pass only at the widened sections in some parts of the road. If you walk down from the camping spot, you reach the water, where there is also a fire pit and a place for picnics.Translating
Welcome to Bruvik ! Park your vehicle only, dont put chairs or other gear outside in the parking area. There is no public waste management, so we hope all our guests use a waste disposal on your way. The local community offers more information at https://www.bruvikbygda.no
The parking area is large enough for about four vehicles. You can reach the water on foot, where there are also seats. The approach is somewhat challenging, however, as it follows a very narrow road for about 8–9 km. We would recommend it only for cars or small vans.Translating
Wonderful for self-sufficient vans. According to the sign, it is an area for recreation. Locals will not be thrilled by the occupied parking area in good weather, especially on weekends. Please be considerate and think ahead. Overnight stays are (for now) not a problem.Translating
Good gravel area with a great view of the fjord. It is very quiet, and a little below there is a swimming spot with a fire pit and an emergency toilet. Space for about four campers. The approach via a single-track road is adventurous.Translating
What a beautiful place to spend the night! We drove up the road with a bit of anxious sweating, but it was definitely worth it. Had a very peaceful night, with dinner and breakfast overlooking the view! :)Translating
Wonderful place with a beautiful view (provided you arrive first). Nice to walk all the way along the little path. You can also walk down the road to a picnic area where you can swim. Bruvik is beautiful and the little shop has everything, including a water tap. If you're not careful, the road to Bruvik will literally take a few years off your life, but we thought the risk was worth it ;).Translating
Well—for fishing, nature and peace, it is great. I strongly advise against driving there with a motorhome. We are 7.5 m long and had quite a job on the single-track road. Especially when a bus came toward us, since there were only a few passing places. For 4x4s or SUVs, it is perfect.Translating
Very pleasant place, absolute peace and quiet. The village is quiet, and the local shop is always open. We had a very peaceful night.Translating
