Been here?
A spacious wild camping spot beside a canal, suitable for an overnight stop and generally quiet. There is some distant motorway noise, but recent stays found it unobtrusive, with the road becoming silent from 23:00 until 7am. There are no facilities, so the area should be kept clean.

Super quiet place, we felt safe. After our arrival (after midnight), Steve kindly greeted us; he lives right next door in his camper. Perfect place for a stopover.Translating
Awsome place parked next to the canal and to reaffirm the people who live there are not travellers they are good people and welcomed me straight in. My son played with there kids and I sat around there fire. I will definitely be back. Great people great stay
Steve, who lives in a caravan, keeps the place tidy. The turn is a bit tight, but there are roads to turn around on at each end of the bridge.Translating
Good place to stay for the night by the canal. Some hum in the distance from the motorway but not a bother. No facilities so please keep the area clean. Lovely people nearby, very helpful.
Fab little stop over, the family there has a little girl that played lovely with our kids. The couple were friendly. Lovely walk up the canal and Pretty quiet, stayed 2 nights
Lovely place to stay the people in the caravans are not gypsy/travellers lovely little family with a 6year old girl
This place is good the people in the caravans are good to speak to and the lad in the caravans is a mechanic, so if you need any help ask him
Excellent spot. Road was silent from 11pm until 7am. We were the only people here the whole time. Arrived at night and found it a little tough to see the turning, but there's a roundabout up the road, so it was no bother.
Stayed for one night. Quiet place, and we were the only ones there. Fishermen arrived in the morning but were no bother. You could hear traffic from the nearby road, but nothing major.Translating
A nice place in itself. Flat ground and lots of space. View of the canal. There is some dumped rubbish and a lot of motorway noise.Translating
A beautiful place. We spent a very quiet night. Be careful when arriving after dark. There is no barrier between the canal and the parking area. A few boats passed by in the morning.Translating
Fantastic location. Quiet and serene by the water the views are just lovely. Yes background road noise but nothing concerning.
Great spot tucked away down a narrow track. Night was peaceful, wasn't disturbed by the morning traffic either. Woke up to some fishers. The fly tipping reported earlier has been sorted
Undisturbed night next to the canal. some fly tipping. a couple of fishers here in the morning. good phone reception. A bit of noise from the roads. Might get not be suitable for larger vehicles though as access path is narrow.
Quiet at night and during the day, there was a van here when I arrived they left later on, It is next to the canal there has been some flytipping, I would stay again.
