Small, quiet campsite within walking distance of the shore and the historic houses. The meadow is wet, but that wasn’t a problem for us. There was enough space to choose from. If you want to shower for longer than three minutes, simply buy more “units” at NOK 10 each. Friendly welcome.

I can only agree with the previous comments. Everything is great. Meadow with apple trees. Free choice of pitch. Very friendly staff. When fully occupied, two showers per man/woman may be too few. There is the opportunity to visit the two churches, the stave church and stone church, swim, shop, take a speedboat and fish in the fjord. The town is only overcrowded when cruise ships are present.

Superb campsite! Felt like wild camping but with all the amenities of a campsite. There’s 2 options: a big meadow with electricity or the option we went for without it. Take the road to the back of the site and find a spot in the woods. Very private, views on and access to the lake over rocks, lots of trees for your hammock and as shaded or sunny as you like. They have bread and cinnamon buns!

We asked whether we could shower by paying for the showers even though we weren’t staying there, as our van had broken down and was at the village workshop, but unfortunately they wouldn’t let us.

Simple campsite with very friendly operators. Very clean sanitary facilities. We paid NOK 250 for a motorhome and two adults without electricity. Showers NOK 10. Laundry room with several sinks and hot water. Two minutes’ walk to the water. Small beach. We liked it.

Small, simple campsite. Very affordable. Friendly staff. The meadow is unfortunately a little muddy, but what can you expect after continuous rain. I really don’t understand the negative reviews here at all.

Nicely located site no more than a minute or so walk from the sea front and spectacular views down the fjord and a pleasant walk round the town. Friendly welcome however site appears to have a lack of care. All facilities, including grey and black water disposal, bins and amenity block worked fine, just need a clean and an update. Fuel and Food shops close by.

Small campsite with very friendly staff. 340 NOK for electricity and 3 people in a motorhome. They let us finish our laundry after checkout time without any problem; very accommodating staff. Quiet night

Free choice of pitches; in the evening the very warm-hearted owners came by to arrange payment. Lots of green space, simple but clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, no grey-water disposal. The price of 300 NOK including electricity is reasonable. A simple, well-kept site with a friendly atmosphere.

Poor Wi-Fi, no grey-water disposal, outdated sanitary facilities, muddy grass, noisy because of truck deliveries next door. I moved on in the rain.

Very beautiful and neat campsite! The toilet building is tidy and clean; there is both a washing machine and a dryer (3 × 10 kr in total).

A beautiful pitch, less than 2 minutes from the water. There is also a beach right there, where you can swim and jump from the diving tower. Sanitary facilities are somewhat old, but very, very clean! Grey water cannot be disposed of, but everything else is available. Nice pitches on the grass. Watching the cruise ships depart in the evening was an experience!

Quite an okay campsite. Quiet and peaceful. Slightly outdated sanitary building. We stayed here for one night and that was enough. Unfortunately, there is not much to do in Vik.

Well-located, quiet campsite (you can only hear the waterfall!), even though it is near the port! 300 NOK for an 8.5 m motorhome plus 2 people, which is very reasonable for Norway. The only problem is the lack of grey-water disposal! Possibility of taking a ferry to Flåm for the day... really nice.

Good place. Friendly welcome. In the evening we walked the short way down to the water again, about 1 minute away. The sanitary facilities are a little retro, but everything is clean and well maintained.

They do not accept ACSI even though they display it at reception. Beautiful place, everything within walking distance. Paid 300 NOK for a pitch with electricity. Other services are also not free as described in the main text. Shower 10 NOK for 3 minutes. Washing machine 2 × 10 NOK, as is the dryer. Shower and toilet are spotless; you can choose your own pitch.

A beautiful and large site, with a very friendly welcome. Arrival is possible even late in the evening, as the barrier is also open at night. From the site we had a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Sanitary building clean and showers for 10 NOK, which is fine. Wi-Fi somewhat unstable, but who needs Wi-Fi on holiday? We can recommend the site.

We spent 2 quiet nights here. The manager is very welcoming and smiling; you immediately feel at ease. The sanitary facilities are spotless and in good condition, and the shower is nice and hot. The village is quiet, and so is the campsite. We recommend it.

We chose this campsite because it had a washing machine, and found a charming, small and cosy campsite where you can position yourself as you like, without much bureaucracy, with everything you need and at a good price: €23, cheaper than many service areas.

Beautiful campsite, everything you need is available. There is a grocery shop and a restaurant nearby. The price is also perfectly reasonable.
