Chemin de l'Arroue, 64570, Arette
Been here?
Riverside parking area in Arette with picnic tables, barbecues, a children's playground, pétanque court, and very clean dry toilets. Village shops including bakery and butcher are accessible via nearby path. Calm and welcoming, though the area can become muddy in rain. Many flies reported.

A spot that does the job. I wasn't too reassured by the huge motorhome parked there, so I went farther into the grass, away from the lights in the evening and from the cows passing by in the morning.
Parking lot with picnic tables and barbecue. By the river. Snack bar in a bus next door. Walk to the village via a path near the motorhome parking area. You will find a bakery and a butcher shop there. Above all, don't miss stopping by MI Ke; very friendly welcome. Lots of flies.
We spent a very quiet night. Thank you for this lovely opportunity.
A place by a river which, unfortunately, has no shade. Along the water there are tables, barbecues, a children's playground, a pétanque court, a fitness trail, and really clean dry toilets. At the entrance, motorhomes can clean their cassette. The highlight is the bus run by Sylvain and his wife. A really lovely couple.
A very welcoming and well-located motorhome area. Very close to the river. I find discriminatory prejudices in the comments, which is shocking... Thank you to the municipality.
It looked very good, but there were a couple of very suspicious-looking trucks with a glass breaker hanging from one of them... and we didn't stay. It looked like a settlement... it gave us a very bad feeling.
It is a beautiful and quiet place. The surroundings are very nice. We did not stay because it was very wet and muddy due to the rain. We passed by again now, six weeks later, and it looks like a gypsy camp. Drive on quickly.
A beautifully laid-out site in a lovely village. We stopped here for a coffee, but you could certainly spend the night here too.
The place is perfect for resting. There are green picnic areas, a stream, and lots of peace and quiet. The people here are very friendly and always greet you and smile.
Great spot for spending the night, quiet and clean, very clean toilet and rubbish bins on site! Thank you to the municipality.
A beautiful, peaceful place, with sheep and cows passing by for everyone to see. Don't miss a detour to the Lucie Berger farm, 777 chemin de Giroune in Arette. And a superb entrecôte at the Gaillardeau restaurant.
I discovered this village thanks to my granddaughter, who has lived there for a year, beautiful! The motorhome areas are great. I often go there and have never had any problems. Many thanks to the municipality for welcoming us.
Very quiet night. Small gravel parking area right next to a lovely shaded park with a fitness trail, pétanque court, barbecues, children's games, toilets, and a disposal station (fresh water via QR code/app; we did not test it). Bread and meat can be bought in the village, a 5-minute walk away. We had a very nice evening at the food market on August 22. Thank you to the municipality!
We spent two nights. A very beautiful place, with the river right next to it and space to lie down and spend the day. Four stars out of five because the shower didn't work, although we are well aware that having a shower is simply an extra.
I love the area. We hadn't been back for three years, but it is a pleasure. My grandchildren love watching the cows go by and playing in the water in complete peace and quiet! Our dogs do too! Many thanks to the municipality for their kindness!
Parking lot a little more pleasant than the one near the service area, so more frequented. Here too, there is no way to dispose of household rubbish.
