This isolated nature spot is reached by a long dirt road and lies beside a stork reserve and rice fields. It is relatively level for a van, quiet at night, and suitable for walking or mountain biking, but mosquitoes and other insects are common. Fires are forbidden, dogs must remain on a leash, and there is a warning that campers have been robbed.

Perfect place, right by the river, totally in nature, beginning October nobody here. Ideal for biking along the river or just spending a night on the way to catch the ferry in Livorno.
It is away from the road and, as they say, you have to drive carefully because the track is rocky. The parking area is a shame, full of rubbish; it seems they don't come all the way there to collect it. I only stayed to have a drink. If it were cleaner, I would give it 5 stars.Translating
