Free parking, noisy nights

This large, free parking area in the heights of Noto is useful for visiting the old town, about 10/15 minutes away on foot. It is slightly sloped and has rubbish bins but no other services. Nights can be disturbed by scooters and occasional trouble, so it is more suitable for daytime visits. The return walk is uphill.

We were nervous at first as the parking was totally empty, however we parked our 7m van and wandered down into town. We passed the usual rubbish dumps along the way and after 10/15 minutes, we arrived into the beautiful old town of Noto. We only stayed for a few hours during the day however it was easy to find with no narrow streets to negotiate.
Okay for staying, a few troublemakers... quiet from around 9 p.m....
Excellent for visiting the enchanting city of Noto! Very large, free parking area with bins. We did not stay overnight.
I confirm the other campers' reviews: convenient for visiting the city, though the uphill return is a little tiring, and the parking area is slightly sloped. For sleeping, it depends on who causes disturbances: at 1 a.m. we had to move because of noisy scooter “performances”.
Good for visiting the town, but not for sleeping.
Perfect for parking during the day with large motorhomes. Difficult for sleeping because of the slope. No services. About a 20-minute walk from the centre of Noto.
