Camping and recreation complex Biggesee is a well-kept campsite with large pitches, including some directly beside the lake. It has clean sanitary facilities, water and electricity included at the pitches, a bread-roll service, cooking facilities, a kiosk, and a restaurant. Dogs are allowed, and the staff are friendly. Depending on the pitch, the sanitary building and disposal facilities may be a long walk, and there is no WLAN.

Very nice pitches; spots by the water are also possible. Depending on the pitch, it is a long walk to the disposal facilities and sanitary building. Electricity is always included, whether you need it or not. Very friendly staff.
Large pitches.
Well-maintained campsite. The sanitary facilities are cleaned continuously and are clean! You can cook for yourself or visit the attached restaurant. I particularly liked the bread-roll service. The prices are also reasonable. Dogs are allowed and are not considered a nuisance; there are plenty of opportunities for walks nearby. Water sports are possible!
Very tidy and pleasant campsite, with spacious pitches, very close to the delightful town of Stade. In July, the price was €36 per night with electricity.
We stayed here for one night on June 12, 2025. Unfortunately, there was no space left directly by the lake. We still had a good spot. It was far from the lake, but quiet and spacious. The sanitary facilities were clean and the site is very well maintained. We will definitely come back sometime.
Beautiful, idyllic site with clean sanitary facilities and friendly staff. The downside is that there is no Wi-Fi and reception is rather poor, including Telekom. Quiet hours are from 1 to 3 p.m., and leaving the site is not possible during that time.
The site seems to be stuck in a time warp. Not up to modern standards. The shop accepts cash only. Some things are very expensive—for example, one bottle of Lidl mayonnaise costs €4. The site is poorly maintained, both the outdoor areas and the sanitary facilities. No Wi-Fi.
We are here over Easter and have a very nice motorhome pitch directly by the water. The reception was very friendly and straightforward. There is a bread-roll service and a small kiosk, the sanitary facilities are always absolutely clean, and mobile reception is full. Including electricity and water, €45 per night for two people is okay. We are more than satisfied. You can relax wonderfully here. Gladly again.
Very beautiful, right by the lake. Very nice and friendly. Very peaceful location.
We have been coming here from time to time for over a decade. A really great, well-maintained site in an excellent location. Depending on the provider, you may actually have no internet, but we want to relax and don't necessarily want to be reachable.
The site itself is very nice. We were on one of the rear pitches without a lake view. The pitches were really large, but so muddy and waterlogged that they could hardly be used and we were afraid the van might sink in. Wi-Fi is not offered and there is absolutely no mobile reception. Therefore, €32 per night for one person plus van is too expensive.
You are parked very close together, with absolutely no internet reception anywhere on the entire site. There is no Wi-Fi either. Bread rolls can be ordered for the morning. There are many cycling and hiking trails nearby.
You have everything you need here, but for the money we have had better. The location around the lake is of course excellent, with good opportunities for hiking and cycling. If you want to take your dog into the water, you have to walk a little way. That didn't bother us.
We managed to get a pitch at short notice... very friendly... gladly again :)
