Viale Papa Giovanni Paolo 2, 96012, Avola
Been here?
This place is currently reported to refuse camper access, with a sign at the entrance stating that campers are not allowed. It appears to have become a tourist village rather than a motorhome area. Earlier comments described paved, level pitches with electricity, water, modern sanitary facilities, a pool and proximity to the sea, but these details may no longer apply.

At the entrance they put up a sign saying no campers. We didn't find anyone at the entrance, but the sign was clear. It seems to have become a holiday resort.
Impossible to reach by motorhome; we were refused entry in June 2026.
Nobody opens! The site seemed to be closed; after calling twice, they finally opened. The site is excellent, the pool refreshing, close to the sea, and cycling tours are possible. Not ideal for dogs, surely too hot in summer. The owner is very friendly; we are enjoying the peace and quiet.
We received a very friendly welcome. A beautiful, new facility. The pitches are paved and level, with electricity and water connections. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Three days of relaxation will surely be wonderful.
Highly recommended… this is a place the owner takes care of, and it is up to a high standard and comfortable. We left this morning with all services available. CZ
very nice place, we will definitely come back
Very pleasant, well-maintained and clean. Close to the town and shops. The welcome was superb.
We were very satisfied; a very clean and quiet campsite.
€30 per night without electricity (2 adults, 2 children aged 1 and 4), making it our most expensive pitch on the island. The spa/sauna/pool/restaurant are currently closed, and the washing machine is unavailable. Small paved pitches. For us, the value for money is not right here.
Straightforward and friendly welcome. Access to the sea is through the neighbouring property, then only across the road. Otherwise, everything is as described.
A truly beautiful site. Very well maintained, with excellent toilets and showers. The beach is not far away, and Lidl and other supermarkets are within walking distance. The owner speaks German and is really very friendly. We were here in mid-October and practically had the 23°C swimming pool to ourselves.
In summer, the motorhome service is suspended. It resumes from late September/October.
ATTENTION!! THIS FACILITY IS NO LONGER A MOTORHOME AREA! UPDATED 17/06/2024
Don't let the gate put you off—call them. Very nice owner, very clean, not many but paved pitches, safe and quiet. We stayed here at the beginning of April.
Super motorhome area, with large landscaped pitches and direct electricity and water connections, hot-water showers without a time limit, and a very well-maintained, orderly facility including a pool. The only drawback is that there is only cold water for washing dishes.
Wonderful camper spot, with a swimming pool, sauna, wellness facilities and, yes, toilet paper and soap, showers and hot water, water at the pitch and dumping facilities—everything included for €35. We planned to stay two nights but stayed six. Very nice owner. Evening access with a code. Within walking or cycling distance of Avola, and you can cycle to Noto, although there is some climbing. Supermarkets are within walking distance. Salvatore, grazie.
A really well-maintained, modern site. The sandy beach and the town are within walking distance. Shopping facilities are right nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Great place, thank you very much. We felt very comfortable. The disposal facilities are very accessible, and fresh water is available directly at the pitch. We were able to enter with a 9 m vehicle, carefully passing the trees.
I planned to stay for two days; it became 13. Oasis offers everything you need for a pleasant stay: spacious, well-maintained pitches, attractive sanitary facilities, a large green area right next door for dogs, a clean beach 300 m away, and shops, cafés and restaurants within walking distance. And finally—a friendly and helpful owner! Thank you!
Wow! What a great motorhome area and what friendly service: we arrived on Christmas Day, were assigned a pitch after a short phone call, and were incredibly happy to have ended up here! A little place like this is hard to find! THANK YOU, Salvatore.
We only viewed the site; for us dog owners it is not ideal. There is no good place to walk the dog either on-site or outside—everything is paved. There is a washing machine, but the dryer is broken. The site is very clean and well occupied, with many motorhomes here. The pitches are very tight. The road is right next to it. We drove on.
Motorhome services not available because there is “no water”. What a shame :-/
Great place, very clean and well maintained. Gladly again!
Good place, centrally located. New sanitary facilities. Cleaning outside the season still needs improvement! All in all, a very good motorhome area, clearly above average in Sicily—recommended!
Nice campsite with around 14 paved pitches with electricity and water . Modern bathrooms with unlimited hot water also in the dishwashing sinks . Owner was not there when we arrived but phoned him and guided us what to do until he was back . Quiet place surrounded with olive and lemon trees . Path that takes you to the sea front, also walking distance to 4 supermarkets . check out till 1pm .
Well-positioned motorhome area with hot shower; bathrooms not very clean. Large swimming pool, obviously closed for the winter. In my opinion, the cost is excessive: €28 for two people, plus €5 to use the washing machine. A few metres away there is an alternative that costs half as much—perhaps less sophisticated, but fairer.
