71 Zum Landwehrsee, 27313, Dörverden
Been here?
This friendly, retro-style campsite sits directly on Landwehrsee with a small sandy beach and gastronomy. A motorhome up to 6m with 1 person costs 32€, with warm water extra. The sanitary facilities are clean but very outdated, greywater disposal is unavailable, and road and railway noise can be heard at night.

€32 for one person and a camper is already at the upper end. If the site itself and the sanitary facilities were reasonably well maintained and modern, I would say it could be worth paying. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. The price is far too high for what is offered. The worst part is €0.50 for a hot shower, with lighting that does not even stay on for one shower.
Attention: one night with a motorhome up to 6 metres and one person costs €32. Hot water costs extra, and the soap was not replenished. There is nothing to add to the previous comments. The value for money is really not right.
A note regarding earlier comments: soap and toilet paper are available.
Sanitary facilities are clean but completely outdated. Lighting along the paths is totally inadequate, and there is none at the sanitary building either. Everything is very primitive, and grey-water disposal is impossible. The only nice thing is the small bathing beach on the lake. Road noise and trains can be heard at night.
Very nice rustic site, recently equipped with sleeping barrels overlooking the lake! Really great! A lot of renovation work is being done. Very friendly site management.
Very outdated. You must bring your own soap and toilet paper. Many fresh-water points at the pitches are broken, so unused drinking water constantly runs into the ground. The restaurant could still improve. However, I doubt whether restaurant guests who use the same toilet bring their own toilet paper and soap. A shame—the site deserves better.
For me, a lovely site. Very friendly welcome even after 8 p.m.! Friendly management, with a mix of long-term residents and short-term guests. Some rustic pitches for short-term guests with views of the countryside. You can also stay longer. Beautiful, clean lake and lots of nature.
Everything was already mentioned in the first post. The food was five stars plus.
