By now, this is a free daytime parking area for motorhomes (8 a.m.–10 p.m.). Overnight stays are not allowed! The local authority was also out on Ascension Day. The beach chairs are great. There are enough rubbish bins for walking the dog.
This is a general parking area. The motorhome area begins 100 meters farther on and is also listed separately in the app. I did not see a prohibition sign, but there is a clear indication of the other area.
The peace and quiet are a dream—free beach chairs, lovely walks possible in the area, and the rubbish is collected daily. A place to enjoy! Thank you to the municipality!
Great, quiet place with a huge meadow—perfect for children! Very clean toilet nearby (as of June 2025), and comfortable beach chairs invite you to linger. No electricity, but manageable. Services unfortunately only at the main site. Excellent for visiting the seal station—best to walk there, as parking a motorhome there is not allowed!
Great alternative place, with free beach chairs directly in front of the van. Thank you for providing it. At the actual motorhome site, you can dispose of and replenish all kinds of water free of charge. Many thanks for that too.
Excellent location, quiet. Shops and the seal station are close by. Walks through the salt marshes are possible from here. Dogs welcome. Rubbish is collected daily. Friendly, helpful residents. There was no space for our 9-meter vehicle at the campsites.
Since the beginning of March 2025, the parking area has been a free motorhome site.
Good starting point for visiting the seal rescue station, a 10-minute walk away. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of parking a motorhome directly at the station, at least not in high season. Unfortunately, there are also no clear signs, so we first drove to the station parking area and were then sent back. This could be better organized for local residents.
