4-10 Rue de Turenne, 03390, Montmarault
Been here?
Free village parking for four pitches with free water and electricity, shaded by trees and near a children's play area. Church bells ring until 11pm and restart at 6am. A bar and bakery are 200m away; local shops are adjacent. Overflow parking for additional nights is available nearby. The water point has deteriorated. Overnight stays are quiet.

This is a very shady area, with stone picnic tables beside it and a small children's playground. The night was very quiet, even though it was Saturday. Very good!
Perfect place for an overnight stop. We had a drink at the brasserie and bought bread at the village bakery. We did not need the services, but the toilets in the square were clean. Thank you to the municipality.
Thank you to the municipality for this perfectly located site. We had a drink at the nearby bar and breakfast at the bakery, about 200 metres away. In addition, all services are free, contrary to what is stated on P4N.
Thank you to the municipality; we spent a very good night there. The services are free. Be careful: children in the playground come and waste the water.
Nice little municipal aire where everything is free and shaded. Thank you to the municipality.
Thank you to the municipality for providing this magnificent aire, with free water and electricity. In return, I took a little trip to the bakery and chocolate shop. A tip: park on the side because the passage is narrow. An added bonus is the children's playground next to the aire.
Four spaces, not very wide for motorhomes, but it is possible. Shops nearby! Free water and electricity, helping support the local businesses. Thank you to the municipality.
Small, functional site. The bells are very close and stop at 11 p.m., starting again at 6 a.m. Otherwise, it is not too noisy. The service terminal is poorly located because it is in the path of vehicles.
Nice little place to stop, but unfortunately the terminal, electricity, and water are all out of service!
A quiet aire for spending one night. The local shopkeepers make you want to return; we appreciated their welcome and friendliness. The only drawback is that the water terminal is damaged, so filling up with water or rinsing the cassette is impossible. Thank you to the municipality for offering us the chance to sleep peacefully and safely for free. Olivier and Christiane (44).
Shaded aire for 4 motorhomes, but if it is full, it is possible to park for one night in a large car park next door. The TV satellite dish could not get a signal. Thank you to the municipality.
For a maximum of 4 campers. Length 6.5 metres is no problem. Level, safe, quiet, with facilities and a dog-walking area. Easily accessible.
Well-maintained place. I deduct 1 star because the services are out of order and another star because of the church noise, which rings every hour, or even every 30 minutes, including at night.
Just enough room to park our large motorhome; there are a few spaces available. Services on site, very level, fairly quiet considering the urban setting, and free. Thank you!
Perfect place; the electricity terminal seems faulty. There is also a large car park next to the motorhome aire. Thank you to the town hall for this space, which was full this evening, 24 March, with our 7.5-metre motorhome and three large vans.
Tokens are available at Bar le Central, where the welcome is excellent. We spent a great night in this tree-lined spot, with a children's park nearby. Very quiet, and there is a small market on Wednesdays.
Thank you to the town for this aire, which complements the one a little farther away in the village. Free parking. Perfect for us halfway to Bordeaux.
The area, at least in December, seems very neglected, and the electricity and water services do not appear to work, except for emptying. The ground is a mud bath. Right next to it is a paved and reasonably level area. In any case, much better than the other area in the village, where a 7-metre motorhome does not fit.
Free, yes, okay, but there are no services this month; the special connector is difficult. Tokens are available only when the shop is open. No chance late in the evening. Spaces for large motorhomes are very tight, as is the entrance. There are other places!
Quiet in the village centre. Flat and clean. Services okay. Good for visiting.
Very good; small shops are right next door, including a bakery and restaurants.
Great location close to the motorway, we splashed out on dinner in the hotel de France Montmarault, a real treat. The overnight stop is free, why not treat yourself?
Frankly, this little aire is very well located, in the town centre and just two steps from the shops. Grey-water and cassette emptying services are free; drinking water is dispensed with a token. I highly recommend visiting the local shops, especially the bakery and butcher—they are delicious! Many thanks to the municipality for providing this free facility.
Very clean and quiet camper site with all facilities, and a 2-minute walk from the village with all necessary shops. Very nice! Playground next to the camper site, picnic area, dog-waste bags, bins, and good internet reception. Unfortunately, some people let their grey water run out under the camper even though emptying grey water and toilets is free. Thank you to the municipality! It was lovely!
Large parking area, spacious, with spotless and very clean toilets. The village is very quiet and beautiful, with services such as a chocolate shop, bakery, and brasserie that make it very welcoming. Ideal for spending a night: we slept very peacefully. Overall, a highly recommendable experience. The people are very friendly. Thank you.
Great place in a lovely village.
Small park with used water disposal on the side. Toilets in good condition in the large car park. Many thanks to the town hall for this aire.
A great shaded aire, but there is a funfair until 6 August—the annual fair takes place during the first week of August. We will return another time. Thank you to the municipality for this beautiful space.
At the moment there are only half the spaces, as they seem to be under construction. We parked in the spaces opposite, in the paved area, which is fairly level. For insomniacs, the neighbouring church bells ring on the hour and half-hour. Otherwise, it is a quiet area; we will empty our tanks and leave.
Ideal for a stop, 5 minutes from the motorway. Very quiet, with picnic tables, a children's playground, and public toilets open all night in the large square right next door, opposite the café. Thank you to the municipality for this space!
Very nice site. Don't arrive too late if you need the services; tokens are available in the shops.
