31-1068 Route de la Chapelle, 40270, Larrivière-Saint-Savin
Been here?
A small, free parking area beside Notre-Dame-du-Rugby chapel and opposite a rugby museum. The site is quiet, slightly uneven, and fits up to 3 small campers; an 8-metre camper fits only with another vehicle of about 5 metres. Free water is available behind the chapel, picnic tables are provided, and access is narrow and very steep unless following the bus route.

Quiet place next to a little chapel and opposite a rugby museum. There is free water behind the chapel. The place is somewhat uneven, but our camper has hydraulic legs. A maximum of three small campers can fit; ours is 8 meters and only fits with perhaps another 5-meter van or camper, after which it is full.
Picnic tables available. Chapel and museum. We spent a very quiet night here.
Convenient for Terra. Small parking area because half is closed off; narrow access unless you use the bus entrance.
Great quiet place; we saw one car pass in the evening and heard no noise all night. There are no picnic tables anymore, so it is more a place to spend the night than to have a picnic. The chapel and museum are really worth visiting!
It would be perfect if some people avoided leaving their toilet paper and other waste behind the parking building. That would help prevent all the available spots for wild camping from being prohibited in the future. It saddens me! This morning, people from the town were preparing the site for a festival. We asked if we could fill up with water, and they smiled and said, “Of course you can.”
