A free daytime parking area at Eketorps Fornborg, with about 10 motorhome spaces on tarmac. There is no shade or other supplies, but garbage bins are available and toilets can be used during opening hours. Current signage permits parking from 9-18 and directs campers elsewhere, so overnight stays are not allowed.

A very large parking area, with space at the front for about 10 motorhomes. Visiting the restored castle is definitely worthwhile. Officially, overnight stays are not intended. The lady at the ticket desk said: “It is not expressly forbidden, and no action is taken against it.” End of quote.Translating

Five stars because if you arrive at the parking area in the morning, well before opening, you can visit the ‘castle’ without anyone else around. At 9 a.m. the gate was open and you could enter.Translating
