Very good for visiting La Rochelle: bus line 6, Bretagne stop, 200 meters from the motorhome area. The bus drops you 500 meters from the port. From the area, the Île de Ré bridge is 4.5 km by bicycle, for a round trip to visit the island of 82 km. The services are excellent. Thanks to the municipality for maintaining a motorhome area.Translating
Attention: the service area is accessible only to people staying in the area. You cannot simply access the services.Translating
Good motorhome area, open 24 hours. Well connected to the city center. Bus line 2 minutes away. Good prices.Translating
Very good for visiting the city. Everything else is excellent.Translating
Top site with beautiful, large pitches. Some are shaded.Translating
Spacious area, large parking spaces, relatively quiet, electricity, level ground, 10 minutes by bicycle from the city center, and many trees for shade.Translating
We stayed one night. The spaces are quite large and it was very quiet despite being nearly full. Well located for visiting La Rochelle by bicycle!Translating
Many spaces, with and without shade, and with and without electricity. It depends on where you park. Fifteen minutes by bicycle from La Rochelle.Translating
Spacious area—130 spaces, but only 116 with electricity. And everyone pays the same rate. Spot the mistake.Translating
Well located for sightseeing, 3 km by bicycle. The area is fairly clean, but there is a smell of urine in the spaces near the walls. Otherwise, not bad; many shaded spaces. Good for one night and visiting La Rochelle.Translating
Spacious pitches and free electricity, which is appreciated, but a little far from the center and without bathrooms. Quiet, shaded place with many spaces available. If it had bathrooms, my rating would be higher.Translating
Quiet and peaceful place with spacious pitches. There is also a bus network connecting to the city, with a stop 200 meters away. Free electricity is available, which is appreciated.Translating
The area is very well located relative to the city center, with shade, green spaces, and all services. A few spaces beside the stadium do not have electrical hookups. The spaces along the boulevard are shaded with the road behind them; the central spaces are quieter. There is something for everyone. We spent two quiet, shady nights here.Translating
We spent the night of July 8–9 in this motorhome area. It was the worst night of our entire trip. Roadworks were taking place on the street next to the area throughout the night. It is a large, spacious area, and some pitches do not have electricity. Noisy. Half an hour from the center. If you go, choose the central pitches.Translating
Very large area, with many shady spots and all services, including electricity. Many buses nearby take you to the center or the beach; Chef de Baie is 15 minutes away, and the first beach on Île de Ré is 35 minutes away.Translating
Large area with services at several locations. A little far from La Rochelle. Served by buses, but only twice an hour. Very reasonable price. We went to the city center by bicycle. Some spaces are shaded and others are in full sun. Low water pressure at the service point.Translating
Good place in the middle of La Rochelle. Ideal for visiting the city. Mostly shaded spaces with electricity. There are four service points, which is very good. Good 4G reception.Translating
Large area; when we arrived, more than 100 spaces were free. Some spaces have electricity and others do not. Great option for visiting La Rochelle, reachable by bicycle or public transport (€1.50, paid on board by bank card). Several shaded spaces, excellent for summer. Take a ticket at the entrance and pay at the automatic machines before leaving. €14.55 per 24 hours.Translating
Great level pitch, with some shaded spaces. Electrical hookups are not available at every space. Good bus connections to the city and beach.Translating
Comfortable and level area. With shade. Some spaces have electricity and others do not.Translating
Highly recommended. The road is busy, but it is quiet at night. We spent two nights here before going to Île de Ré and one night on our return. For your information, the bins are at the exit machine, and glass recycling is outside on the right. There is also drinking water—a real plus.
Excellent. Very well located. For motorhomes only. Friendly atmosphere. Vacant spaces with electrical access depending on the pitch. However, there are no sanitary facilities or bins provided. We arrived at 4 p.m. on a busy weekend; 45 spaces remained. Two kilometers from the port, very convenient by bicycle. Body of water 500 meters away. Cycle path. €14.55 per 24 hours. Open entry.
Beautiful, clean, large motorhome area at a good price. Card payment only. Be careful to leave within 24 hours to avoid paying for another stay.
Motorhome area very well located relative to the city center, well maintained, with services working without problems. Some spaces beside the stadium do not have electrical hookups. The spaces along the boulevard are shaded but somewhat noisy, naturally, given the traffic.
Beautiful area. We appreciated the shade from the trees during this hot period; the services are excellent. Bus number 6 is very convenient for visiting the city. We stayed two nights without any problems.
Very beautiful area under the trees. The road side is busy, but there is little traffic at night. Bus nearby to the center, or it is a 15-minute bicycle ride.
Fantastic place to spend the night, very quiet and with trees.
Perfect, sheltered under the trees, and you can eat on the grass beneath the trees behind the motorhome. Very beautiful city to visit on foot, and you can go to Île de Ré by bicycle.
Rubbish. Automatic barrier wouldn't let us in and the automatic help was useless. I think the sensor doesn't let smaller vans e.g. VW California into the aire regardless of whether you have a toilet onboard.
Very beautiful parking area. Bus number 6 is 200 meters away and goes to the city center. A minor complaint concerns the very low water pressure from a push-button tap that must be pressed continuously. Do not cut your timing too close.
A very beautiful place. The price is reasonable. Electrical hookups are not available at every pitch. To all dog owners: it would be only right not to use the entire site as a dog toilet. Walking up to three dogs in front of us and letting them poop, then pretending not to notice—that is disgraceful.
Beautiful motorhome area, perfect for visiting La Rochelle on foot, with the bus taking you to the city center. I recommend it.
Great location and facilities. So close to the old city and ideal for exploring La Rochelle.
Excellent motorhome area for very large motorhomes—we even saw a bus. Quiet area close to the sea, city, restaurants, shops, and casino. I recommend it. Electricity, water, and gray-water disposal: everything is perfect.
Nice place, good for staying a few days. The price-to-quality ratio is good, and everything a camper needs is available. The old town and old harbor are easily reached by bicycle.
We were here two days ago. Very good location, with bus line 6 nearby for €1.50, taking you to Place Verdun to see the old town and go down to the old port. A beautiful city.
Excellent motorhome campsite, easy dumping and filling, shaded, which we don't always get, 10 minutes from the city center, a very beautiful town. Thanks to the municipality and the mayor for this site; the five stars are well deserved.
Well placed site with around 15 minutes on bike to the old harbour. We got a place with shade, but no electricity. We barbecued one evening without problems. A nice site with nice autocamper people
Huge parking area, but very well located. In 10 minutes by bike, you reach La Rochelle harbor.
They don't accept vans. We were refused entry today because we don't have a toilet.
Good place. If it weren't for the fresh-water filling system, which is a disaster. Low water pressure and a push button on top of that. I don't know why it's so difficult to do things properly.
