Been here?
This is a parking area for Dinas Rock, with cliff views, picnic benches, level ground and access to waterfall walks. The gate shuts at 17:30, and the narrow bridge makes access unsuitable for large motorhomes; a 2.55m vehicle crossed slowly. Overnight stays have been possible, although a camping-prohibition sign has been reported. The area is quiet after daytime walkers leave, but it can become busy before closing.

Don’t listen to negative comments here. This is a brilliant spot. Views of a cliff/picnic benches/signal/level ground/access to amazing waterfall walks! I can’t see any downsides. It’s a positive that the gate shuts at 17:30 just park anywhere you can before closing (it gets busy), go see some amazing waterfalls, come back to an empty car park with no comings and goings. Bridge fine in L3!
We stayed overnight here. There are no signs indicating any restrictions. It is very quiet. The access road is very narrow; we are 2.55 m wide and drove very slowly over the bridge. Only the entrance is closed at night; you could drive out but not back in because there is a one-way barrier embedded in the ground. There are no rubbish bins there.
As others have said, bit of a squeeze in LWB sprinter but great stay, we did the Elidir trail and then back around through the four waterfalls (bring a waterproof as you need to go under the last waterfall to cross the river). Gate wasn't closed at night.
Great stopover. Very quiet with lovely walks on the gunpowder trail. Very tight to get over the bridge with LWB crafter camper.
secound time i have stayed here for one night , great park up very quite there is phone signal with EE it is very tight on way in with 7.3m pannel van conversion would not suggest trying in a mh
There was a barrier at the entrance, which was closed when we arrived. Since we were there for climbing, we went to look on foot. In the car park there is a sign prohibiting camping on the site.
Lovely area; it can get busy on weekends.
only accessible for small vans. there is a tight narrow turn on to a narrow bridge.
Inaccessible for large motorhomes. Narrow bridge at the entrance—not passable with a motorhome. This is only for vans.
