Been here?
Small, friendly campsite directly beside Lake Bolsena, with shaded pitches, clean sanitary facilities, and bathing access at the lake. Bolsena’s centre is about 10-15 minutes away on foot, with bars and restaurants nearby. The new toilet block is clean, and guests also mention hot water, washing machines, and a dryer. Many pitches have little separation, so privacy can be limited when the campsite is busy.

The toilet block is new and clean, and the location is excellent for visiting Bolsena on foot, 10–15 minutes from the centre. However, in many areas the pitches have no vegetation separating them, so there is no privacy, and when busy the presence of neighbours is very intrusive.
Cozy, family-friendly campsite. The manager is very friendly. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Next to the lake, where you can swim or take a pleasant walk.
Very pleasant campsite, with lots of shaded spots. Close to a charming town. Check-out by 2:00 p.m. €50 for 2 people and sleeping in a van :) We are satisfied and recommend it.
Very nice and peaceful campsite. Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly staff. We stayed here for one night and came back the day after next for another night. About a 10-minute walk to the town center. Swimming spots are available directly at the campsite.
Excellent campsite, very peaceful and in a beautiful, relaxing location. The facilities are very clean and the staff are kind and efficient. Excellent value for money.
Super nice campsite. Small town within walking distance. The owners are so friendly. Family atmosphere. Really recommended!
It was very nice here, friendly welcome, uncomplicated registration, relaxed atmosphere, and you could order bread for the next morning. The town is within walking distance. Everything included, directly on the lake, top-notch.
Very warm welcome, very shady campsite, sanitary facilities and showers adequate. €25 for the pitch plus €2 tourist tax. Lake 50 meters away. Small downside: I couldn't use my 2,100-watt electric grill because it kept tripping the breaker. Don't hesitate to stop here.
Beautiful, small campsite located directly on the lake. Many shady pitches, clean, and friendly staff. We enjoyed ourselves.
Fantastic location, clean and complete facilities, friendly staff. I appreciate that the price is the same all year round and you pay when leaving the campsite: one of the rare remaining examples of people doing their job well without worrying about marketing logic.
A pleasant site. The reception was friendly, and we could choose our own pitch. The trees provide shade, though sometimes also height restrictions. The facilities are clean and adequate, with plenty of hot water. There is a washing machine and dryer. We never felt cramped and felt comfortable.
We arrived without a booking for a one night stay, which was no problem at all. Fantastic location on the lake. Friendly and efficient booking onto the site on arrival. Given a choice of two pitches which are shaded. The facilities are very good and very clean. Washing machine great too. Peaceful night. Lake is beautiful for swimming. Balzano is a quiet and lovely place to wander around.
Campsite very well located on the lakeshore and a 10-minute walk from the historic center of Bolsena. €27 with electricity and all services seems reasonable to me. Showers, toilets, etc. do the job, although they are somewhat old but clean.
The campsite is beautiful, but there was no hot water for showering.
Five stars for the location, orderliness, service, and cleanliness of the facility. Four stars because the pitches are not very large and many have trees with branches, which can cause problems for a motorhome with an overcab bed. The service area is well organized, including for nautical toilets.
€27 for one night, everything was fine. There is a fast-food stand at reception. About a 15-minute walk to town along the promenade. Small town with walls.
Great location, free choice of pitches, shade under the trees, and a super-friendly welcome. Highly recommended.
Campsite equipped with everything necessary, in an excellent location for visiting the beautiful village of Bolsena! Welcoming and kind staff.
I was warmly welcomed in the pouring rain and well advised when choosing a pitch, because I could reach the sanitary facilities without wading through ankle-deep water. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained. €19 for a VW Bulli, one person, and tourist tax is a good price for such a fantastic location directly on Lake Bolsena.
Actually a very nice site. Sanitary facilities always very clean. Small downside: you stand under the trees directly next to each other, relatively cramped, without privacy screens. For 3 nights, 2 people, motorhome, and dog, €81—great value for money!
Very friendly welcome. Located directly on the lake. The town center is comfortably reachable within a few minutes. Quiet in April. Good sanitary facilities, with toilet paper but no soap.
A good campsite with clean and well-maintained spaces. The sanitary block is always clean and efficient, with showers providing very hot water. A single price throughout the year regardless of the season.
This is how I imagine a campsite. Always clean sanitary facilities. Showers with plenty of hot water. We had a grassy pitch, but there are also gravel pitches. Very friendly welcome. Directly on the lake. We paid €11 per day for the motorhome and €7 per person, plus €1 tourist tax.
Campsite in a beautiful panoramic location on the lake and a few hundred meters from Bolsena. It is well organized, with facilities in good condition and large green areas for group activities. Unfortunately, there are no set times for motorhome service operations, so you may end up having lunch amid motorhome exhaust fumes. I suggested that management address this.
What you expect from a campsite. Close to the water. It was too cold in April. €27 for 2 people in a van. €2 tourist tax. €7 per person. €11 for the car.
We’ve just stayed here for one night! We paid 35 euros for the piazzola, we were 3 adults and 1 child. The area is clean and it’s just infront of the lake. Shower, toilette and washing area is very clean. I thought it was 26 euros only but we paid 35 euros.
Beautiful site, lots of trees for shade. With tall vehicles you have to be careful, as almost everywhere in Italy. But you do get very close to one another and should like your neighbors.
Excellent campsite. Shaded. Clean sanitary facilities and hot showers included in the price. One motorhome, 2 people, and 2 animals: €27. The dog beach nearby is a little small, but the lake is very beautiful.
Nice clean campsite. Many restaurants and shops within a 5–10-minute walk. The old city is 15 minutes away. Very cozy.
Very well located near the lake, with several restaurants nearby. The pitches are adequate and the sanitary facilities are clean; the campsite was quiet.
Great value for money, bathroom and shower facilities were very clean, and walking to the town of Bolsena was also easy.
Very nice campsite and super-friendly owners. The sanitary facilities are excellent and everything is very clean! You feel very comfortable here.
Very convenient location for visiting the town center, with a pleasant walk along the lake. Extremely kind staff. Clean bathrooms, showers, and dishwashing sinks, all with hot water. The only possible drawback is that when it rains, puddles form on some pitches, but then again, we are in a pine forest. If we return to Bolsena, we will definitely return to this campsite.
Clean, spacious pitches, bathrooms not brand-new but clean, unlimited hot showers. Fair prices. Directly on the lake, with no road noise. The best value for money of the entire holiday. Highly recommended.
Very nice campsite; most pitches are completely shaded and very close to the lake. Friendly people at reception. Clean bathrooms and always-hot water. At the campsite entrance there is a small bar fully equipped with everything, with very friendly staff. Nearby you will find restaurants, bars, an ice-cream shop, and, a 10-minute walk away, a grocery store, Chinese shops, and camper/camping supplies.
A wonderfully pleasant, beautiful, and well-maintained campsite! Highly recommended. We did not know Bolsena before, and it is truly a gem if you like Italian culture without too much tourism. The campsite is tidy, the pitches are spacious, the toilets are cleaned after each use, the showers are large, and the owners are very kind. All in all, a top place! It is somewhat dated and there were many bugs, which is why I am not giving it 5 stars.
Excellent campsite, very clean bathrooms, large and shaded pitches, right on the lake, convenient for visiting the historic center, reachable via a beautiful lakeside walk.
A quiet, clean, well-maintained place. We arrived at 8 a.m. and the owner found us a spot. Everything is shaded, so it is great for a van. Large pitch per vehicle. Next to the lake, with a magnificent sunset. Very good value for money. €25 plus €2 tax. Shower access, clean toilets, and electricity. Restaurants and a mini-market nearby. I recommend it.
