A picnic area beside the magnificent Hermitage of Virgen del Ara, with benches, tables, toilets, water, rubbish bins and shade among olive trees. Overnight stays are possible and recent visitors report very quiet nights. The paved approach is suitable for large motorhomes, but the parking area is small and uneven; guided visits cost 3€/person.

Magnificent place, clean, with sanitary facilities, water access, and bins. Very peaceful among the olive trees.
I spent a very peaceful night near the Hermitage on December 20, 2025. No disturbance during the night, and a lovely walk among the olive trees in the morning.
Recreation area beside the impressive Ermita de la Virgen del Ara (guided tour €3 per person). It has shaded picnic tables, bins, and a water trough behind the hermitage. The parking area is not very large or level, but it is sufficient for spending the day and even sleeping. The area is very quiet and access is easy for any motorhome.
It can be accessed without problems via a paved road from Fuentes del Arco, even with a large motorhome. Open area shared with cars.
Beautiful hermitage, guided tour, only €2 per person.
