A tarred parking area among the dunes near the sea, with a natural setting and a beach reachable on foot in about 5 minutes. There are no services, but a small rubbish area is available. A resistance monument stands nearby, and the beach offers beautiful sunsets. Road traffic can be noisy during the day and late into the evening.

Beautiful area among the dunes of Pirou, just a short walk from a beautiful and little-visited beach. Incredible sunset! The small monument is a tribute to the region’s resistance during the war. Spartan place but wonderful location.
Excellent spot for one night in a natural setting and close to the sea. Small waste area available. For me, these are the best places for free overnight stays.
Beautiful, flat and fairly large area, quiet, clean and very pleasant for one night. Large beach accessible on foot in 5 minutes. Thank you, we will come back.
100 m from the sea at high tide, among the dunes. Swimming is possible despite the prohibition signs. Road noise during the day and late into the evening, with a lot of traffic.
13/08/2025 parking next to a monument to the French resistance. The beach next to it is very beautiful but swimming is prohibited. Constant noise from cars passing on the road.
Nice place for one night. No facilities. The sunset is spectacular and can be seen from the beach just beyond the dune, reachable in less than 5 minutes on foot.
Very good access to the huge beach. There are beautiful walks to take around this place. We spent the night here because we saw no prohibition signs. Two other motorhomes and two trucks were present. Only the wind was unpleasant.

A very nice car park with a newly erected monument. Bins available; the sea is not far away over the dunes!
There is construction work in progress, and parking is prohibited only at the back of the car park. 3 motorhomes parked here at lunchtime. I think you can stay for a few hours during the day.

A good place to park and walk along the beach. Very close to the road, so dogs cannot be let off the leash. The charm is looking out towards the horizon.
