Im Gräfli, 8808, Pfäffikon
Been here?
Family farm campsite above Pfäffikon SZ on the Way of St. James, offering pitches, straw-bale sleeping and a farm shop with breakfast on request. Kids love the animals and playground, but the autobahn nearby means noise, especially close to it, and the meadow can be muddy or uneven after rain. Toilets and showers are clean but sit right by the stable, so farm smells are common. Price is roughly CHF 30 per adult, 8 CHF per child, 5 CHF per extra child, including grey water and toilet disposal. Friendliness varies by visit; some found the welcome warm, others brusque.

Friendly welcome but basic facilities for the price (showers among the chickens and cows). You can hear the motorway, there are quite a few farm smells, and the pitch is not very level.
A lovely experience at the farm! The place is pleasant and the sanitary facilities are clean. The children loved all the games, animals and playground. We walked to the lake in 15 minutes—great! The night was quiet, although we could hear the motorway faintly in the distance. Lovely experience. Nice little shop with local products.
It is always lovely to return here. Kind welcome, clean facilities in a rural setting. Good breakfast available by reservation. It is a shame there is no shade.
Thank you for the feedback. The pitch costs CHF 30 per adult, CHF 8 per child, and CHF 5 per child. At this price, you may dispose of your grey water and toilet waste and use the sanitary facilities. Thank you for your visit, Karin and Benno Dillier.
A farm on the outskirts of town and within earshot and sight of the motorway. The meadow was mown after our arrival. Waste disposal is in the barn building. The price did not match what was offered here. The services have to be paid for whether they are used or not. Overall, not particularly hospitable.
The lovely experience with the animals, playground and recommended farm shop, plus the pleasant path to Lake Zurich, account for the four points. The pitch itself is very close to the motorway and therefore rather noisy. Be careful when it is wet. The view does not match the pictures. The owners are very nice.
We liked it here very much. The pitches are somewhat sloping but very quiet, as the road is not nearly as busy at night as during the day. There is also a great playground, many animals to pet and a farm shop where you can buy all kinds of delicious things. We will definitely return!
Very friendly welcome. We had a pitch on one of the two meadows all to ourselves! TOP! Absolutely recommended for children: a playground with everything, plus a whole shelter with vehicles of all kinds (tractor, scooter, pedal go-kart and more). The farm shop is a dream! We were allowed to visit and pet the animals (cows, goats, chickens and rabbits) in the barn. Very clean farm!
Typical Swiss farm, with a shop selling excellent local products. The showers and toilets are in good condition but very close to the farm, so you have to be aware that there will be smells. Very pleasant service. The variety and quality of the shop’s products are particularly noteworthy. If you have a dog, the owner recommended that we not walk around there because they have a loose and very territorial mountain dog.
We stopped and paid what we owed before being directed to a muddy field (after 3 days of rain). After showering and eating a meal bought on site, the motorway noise made us move 15 minutes away to a free, quiet sports area.
