Free, unattended gravel parking in an isolated, flat area near the Foiba of Basovizza. Recent reports describe a robbery, a vehicle break-in and many glass shards, and some visitors avoided sleeping there. There are no services, but walks lead through Bazzoni wood and along the ridge overlooking Val Rosandra.

Place is isolated and flat. But very isolated. After reading the other reviews, we didn't feel comfortable sleeping here and kept going.
WARNING, DANGEROUS!!! We were robbed immediately after arriving, while taking a short walk of about 20 minutes. Our camper was broken into and the window smashed. There are many shards of glass all over the parking area, leading us to suspect that cars are often broken into here.
Large isolated space surrounded by greenery, easy to reach and very quiet. In the morning many people arrive to walk or walk their dogs, but nobody causes any problems.

Beautiful place in nature. We slept peacefully for one night next to four other campers with no issues, under a beautiful starry sky. Nobody bothered us; rather, we met other free-spirited travellers like us. Highly recommended for a short stop, as there are no facilities.
Dangerous place to stay at night. It’s isolated, but there’s a guy living in the woods who stares at and scares people. Be careful.
don't go here!!! it's not safe. there was a guy who was creeping around our car... crouching and hiding in the bushes. otherwise the place is empty and secluded, but in my experience-dangerous.
Perfect spot. Quite large, quiet and surrounded by nature. You can find sunny spots or shade. Approximately 200 metres away there is a beautiful sea view. We spent one night here without problems. We can recommend it.

Absolutely not suitable for the night! Isolated, and as soon as we arrived, a huge man resembling our friend from Florence appeared from the woods and aggressively told us to leave!
