Location : 12 min walk to Woerden. Positives: Well laid out, pretty site Good facilities Some pitches are waterside Negatives: Very expensive! 25% more expensive than similar / better sites We were charged a booking fee of 4 Euro even though we just turned up. Unisex facilities- even though they have 2 sets of everything Would I return? No due to price.
A family-friendly campsite in the middle of nature! The pitches are spacious, the people are friendly, and the sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. Many pitches are right by the water. No bread service or restaurant. The lovely town is within walking distance, about 800 m away. There is a cheese market on Saturdays. Wi-Fi and hot water for washing up and showers cost extra. Pets allowed.Translating
Very beautiful and well-maintained campsite with very friendly and helpful staff. Modern, clean sanitary facilities. Well located for cycling to Utrecht or Gouda, or taking the train to Amsterdam.Translating
The owner was very unfriendly and gave us the first pitch right next to the barrier on muddy ground. We could only move two pitches farther by begging. (All the pitches in the row were still free.) We had reserved online beforehand, but because we did not have a large motorhome and only had a rooftop tent, we were not welcome. The sanitary facilities were clean.Translating
Nice and clean campsite. Not the cheapest, but close to the center, within walking distance. Good pitches for motorhomes.Translating
Clean and very friendly. We will come back again.Translating
Clean facilities (unisex) but you need to get tokens for showers and the hot water for washing up etc is 20c. Tiny grass pitches for campervans (not big enough for our awning). Very close to town centre, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The barrier in and out is controlled, so only open between 9am til 12, and 2pm til 6pm. Good for one or two night stopover. Washing machine token is €5
Beautiful campsite, but too expensive. €35.50 for one night with a van, and hot water is not included in that price. It is close to the pleasant town, though. Public swimming pool and gym right next door. Music in the showers/toilets is a nice touch!Translating
Basically a nice place. Unfortunately, there is little peace and quiet because the owner starts mowing the lawn at 9 a.m., trimming hedges, using the leaf blower, and driving past the pitch several times with a small tractor. During the day it is also as noisy as a building site because he uses all kinds of gardening equipment. Every drop of hot water costs extra. What a shame. We will not come back.Translating
A really good campsite. Friendly and helpful manager. Clean sanitary facilities. Woerden is within walking distance and it is located near a beautiful nature reserve. In short, highly recommended.Translating
Beautiful, peaceful campsite. Unfortunately, we were unable to collect fresh water because the tap was not working. Otherwise everything was clean and functional. On the access road to the campsite, we lightly scraped the exhaust on a speed bump.Translating
We went there to empty the tanks; it is only possible after 2 p.m.Translating
Everything very well maintained, music in the toilets, friendly operator but strict barrier hours. Firm ground even in the rain, hot water 20 cents, showers 75 cents, which is fine. Electricity included at the pitch, ideal for cycling trips.Translating
