Many shaded pitches, centrally located, few electricity hookups, very quiet area… except for the disturbance from motorhomes arriving at night. Total €18.

Very convenient for resting after a journey, reasonably clean facilities, toilet paper available. Take a ticket; pay at the exit where you took the ticket, based on the number of hours. Cards and coins accepted. Electricity extra: connect, enter the corresponding hookup number and insert coins; pay-as-you-go with no change. Don’t load too much, then adjust as needed. Quiet, on asphalt, partly under canopies.

Everything is fine for a motorhome pitch. It has everything you need. We always use this pitch as a stopover. A walk through the town is worthwhile.

It suited us for one night on the way to the Adriatic. Shade under the enormous solar panels, and we were lucky because the motorway noise was bearable. Less than five minutes by car away is Caseificio Rozzi Giuseppe Sas, where we bought two excellent pieces of Parmesan aged 26 and 72 months, at a very good price and even better taste.

Excellent location for visiting the town, which is very beautiful.

Neat site, easy to access, electricity, under solar panels. Lovely little town for a change from the road. A pizzeria next door gives us a 10% discount. This is our second visit. And the pizzas are excellent.

3.5/5 stars – Ordinary parking option. You can either park at the side or under the numerous solar roofs (I’m still getting used to them). The castle can be visited on foot, playgrounds are 5 minutes away, and it is perfectly adequate for one night. Electricity costs are mostly posted, waste disposal works, toilets okay.

Spacious paid parking area, up to €15 per 24 hours. Restaurant next to the parking area. Many electricity points are out of service. You can hear the motorway in the distance. The toilet is basic but was clean when we were there. Fine for one night while passing through.

Spacious and convenient parking area. However, there are no sinks for washing dishes and no showers. The payment terminal for exiting sometimes does not work and keeps the €5.00. That happened to me.

Close to the center, with convenient services nearby, but the area is rather anonymous, without showers and with few functioning electrical hookups; the others were switched off or covered with cellophane. More than half the area was free, but not a single hookup was available, so I couldn't connect the camper. Bathrooms poorly maintained and the Wi-Fi didn't reach where I was. All in all, I was not very satisfied despite the good location.

Many spaces (under solar panels), level, electricity charged by consumption, bathrooms (we did not enter), service area at the entrance. You pay directly at the machine on departure. A few minutes' walk from the center. There is plenty of space, so we didn't bother one another, but the spaces are a little short, meaning you either overhang onto the flowerbed behind or encroach on the roadway in front (minor details given the price and location). Everything was perfect!

Spacious area, convenient for visiting Fontanellato. You can also pay by credit card. Electricity is charged according to consumption: with €2 we had an evening and a night with lights and refrigerator, and still had one euro left. The bathrooms could be improved, especially the motion-activated light... it switches off when you are inside the individual toilet and there is no way to turn it back on!

The pitch is perfectly fine for a stopover and the waste-disposal facilities also worked well. The sanitary facilities are squat toilets and not clean. We did not use them.

We used the electricity for about 12 hours, with only a fan heater connected, and inserted €4. The night was quiet and relaxing, mainly suitable for a stopover. The sanitary facilities could be cleaner.

€15/24h CASH ONLY and the machine does NOT give change. Electricity is inexpensive. Clean bathrooms. Unfortunately, the pastry shop has been closed for years. SATURDAY: before 9 p.m., dinner or takeaway pizza at the excellent Pizzeria Europa is impossible without booking well in advance. SUNDAY: a large market a short distance away. Opposite the bar is a kiosk selling milk, cheese, sweets, drinks, etc. Local bars and shops nearby.

Lovely and peaceful camping area. We spent one night in the external parking area because we did not need water or electricity; there were other campers there.

Excellent base for visiting Fontanellato. You can hear the motorway, but the stop remains convenient. Services okay, although the electricity payment system needs reviewing: it is consumption-based and the rate is not indicated. We loaded €5 and used only €3 to avoid surprises overnight. Parking under the panels is not advisable: condensation drips all night.

There is a pizzeria near the area and an excellent bakery near the sanctuary. The area is very large and can accommodate many campers. The staff are very kind and helpful. Cost: €15 for 24 hours.

A great place to travel a little farther after arriving by ferry from Livorno in the evening. It was totally quiet.

Excellent camping area. Electricity is extra and paid with coins. The characteristic village center is just a few minutes' walk away. Recommended.

Beware of the electricity! It costs extra and is not included in the price. There are two ways to get electricity: through hookups accepting 50-cent, €1 or €2 coins, or through 16-amp hookups that are locked with padlocks. If the other hookups are occupied and no staff are present, electricity is unavailable!

Good, no-frills camping area for breaking up a journey or arriving at night. Very clean but basic bathrooms with squat toilets. There was paper and soap, though. There is certainly no great view, and you are on asphalt under the panels; the motorway can be heard in the background but is not bothersome. It is close to a very nice little village. Not so cheap considering electricity is extra.

Ideal stopover pitch. Water and waste disposal available. You stand partly under the solar panels of an energy provider (not beautiful but shady). The nearby town center is very picturesque, and the adjoining cafés and bars have a beautiful view of the moated castle.
