Been here?
Peaceful wooded motorhome area in Haute Somme Valley, 1.5km from Cappy village centre. Large hedged pitches accommodate vehicles to 9m; electricity and water available at each. Sanitary facilities are modern and clean (open summer season). Perfect for walks and cycling along the nearby Somme Canal tow path. Quiet overnight stays with excellent birdsong; access via €5 CAMPING-CAR PARK network card.

Wonderful pitch, spacious plots, simple and clean sanitary facilities. Absolutely peaceful location. There is a restaurant and a bar in the village (otherwise nothing).
Very nice, clean site. The motorhome pitches are enclosed by hedges and partly shaded by mature trees. During our visit, the site was completely full in the evening. Nevertheless, it was very quiet and had a pleasant atmosphere. Utilities and sanitary facilities worked perfectly. Great surroundings. Lots of nature. Very well-kept village. But no restaurants or anything similar.
Very well-located aire, wooded surroundings, fruit and vegetable picking just a stone’s throw away. Spacious, shaded pitches separated by hedges, much appreciated during this heatwave. All services working except sanitary facilities and showers (July 1)—a shame in this heat. Walking path nearby; I recommend it.
Our second time staying here and we will be back. The location is ideal for walking and cycling with the Somme Canal tow path just at the end of the road. Spaces are separated by hedges for privacy and there are some shady areas, ideal in the current heatwave!
Very nice site with hedges and trees, situated in a quiet location.
Quiet and wooded, with birdsong—ideal.
Beautiful place for a stopover or two nights to visit the region. I don’t know what people expect for €15... we were very satisfied with the safe and very peaceful overnight stay, and waking up to the most beautiful birdsong. The pitches are spacious; there was more than enough room for the awning and a play area for the children. So it cannot really be compared with an aire.
Very nice, quiet site in the middle of nature. Large pitches; 9 m is no problem. Clean service and disposal facilities, electricity at every pitch.
We usually stay at the Aire next door but it was full. This Aire wasn’t as good very remote. But had a great nights sleep very peaceful ☺️
Clean and well maintained when we visited, with working services. The Cueillette de Cappy just before the aire was very popular with parents of young children. In our case, we would have appreciated hiking trails around the ponds bordering the site, as they are nonexistent.
At the beginning of April, several pitches were still closed, but the hedges had been trimmed and the site looked well maintained. The sanitary facilities are open in July and August. Service and disposal facilities work.
The app presumably shows all pitches even though there are barriers. The site is unkempt, with branches lying around, and the hedges along the driveways have not been trimmed, so the branches scratch the motorhome. Unfortunately, we increasingly find that Camping-Car Park sites are poorly maintained—like this one. We did not use the service and disposal facilities.
A good place to stay for the night and to visit the local area from. Some of the pitches were quite soggy at this time of year but most were ok. Services all worked fine.
Great for one or two nights if you want to cycle or walk along the Somme, or if you are passing through. Some of the 27 pitches were closed, probably because they were too wet. Fine, large grassy pitches. No sanitary facilities in winter. Emptying the toilet and water works well. At the back of the campsite there is a very odd area with very old mobile homes, but nobody else was there.
Beautiful aire; it just needs a little more maintenance regarding the weeds. The village is accessible on foot. Regarding the comment about the dishwashing basin... No need—use a tub in your motorhome and empty it at the disposal point; it’s no more complicated than that.
Even though we knew the sanitary facilities (showers and toilets) were closed, we still thought we could wash the dishes, but no such luck. In addition, the green areas were not maintained at all (30 cm grass and 60 cm nettles), hence my two stars. Fortunately, the picking farm right next door provides some entertainment.
Very good for a peaceful stopover, with beautiful walks along the Somme.
This is a site somewhere at the edge of a forest. It was perfect for one night. The service area is orderly and works very well!
Nice pitch with everything you need. The wash house is a little dated but perfectly fine. The adjoining small shop was great, with excellent fresh fruit and vegetables. It also sells other little essentials.
Very strange: the entrance barrier is wrecked, so entry is free... but there is a feeling of insecurity, the toilets are decrepit, and the site is oddly shared with mobile homes and chalets. We preferred to leave for the night.
We are leaving this very pleasant aire, ideally located for walking and cycling near the Somme and the marshes. We regret that the sanitary facilities are closed because of damage.
Nice site with simple, somewhat dated sanitary facilities. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the nature and peace.
Beautiful, clean, shaded aire, with lovely walks on foot or by bike!
For one night ok ! Not to far from the motorway . The place feels like a campsite
Quiet site. Sanitary building only open from July. Electricity at the pitch. We only stopped while passing through. Ideal for that. Booked through the app; in and out without any problems.
Bay type pitches seperated by hedges. However, it has 10 pitches dedicated to tents only. This information is not given separately when looking at Camping Car Park app. So even though app may state there are spaces, they may not be Motorhome spaces. However, farm site right at barrier on entrance, no services though.
A very quiet motorhome site. Lots of greenery. In the small village, you can buy bread at the café, whose owner is very friendly. The area is very suitable for fishing enthusiasts.
Convenient aire because there are not many along the A1. Beware: the pitches are very muddy at this time of year.
Very pleasant spot campsite sized pitches and neat hedges. Very very wet!! Certainly not suitable later in the year!
Very quiet area, grassy pitch. Be careful, the lanes are not very wide for a motorhome with trailer.
Really cool and quiet.
Really lovely, made some good new acquaintances, like at a campsite, with showers and sanitary facilities included—which should be standard at every Camping-Car Park. Our dogs are not allowed to swim; the body of water is private.
Fine for one night. The site looks unkempt and the sanitary facilities are very old; fortunately, we did not need to use them. The night was very quiet, however, and the disposal facilities are very good.
