Been here?
Spacious paid motorhome area beside Gysinge Herrgård, the nature information centre, Dalälven rapids bridge and the national park entrance. It has room for 20 vehicles, electricity, and clean toilets and showers at the manor, 100 m away; payment is through EasyPark and provides the facility code. The setting is very quiet and offers excellent walking routes. There is no disposal for rubbish, grey water or black water.

As described, the site is in a wonderful area. The toilets are really far away and are not always checked for missing hygiene supplies. The biggest drawback is the lack of disposal facilities for rubbish and grey/black water. Paying with EasyPark was no problem for us. A small shopping option would also be great.
Motorhomes are allowed here, and we spent one night at the spacious site (space for 20 vehicles). Gysinge is a very beautiful place in a historic setting. The facilities (2 showers, 3 toilets) belonging to the site are very clean, probably newly renovated. You can have dinner and breakfast in the manor's restaurant and swim from a jetty on the grounds or from a beach a few hundred metres away.
Everything as described. Such a beautiful, quiet place. Great site. Hiking trails and such varied nature. We can recommend it.
We were first at the pitch on the other side, but paying was too complicated. Here I can only praise everything: the app works wonderfully, and thanks to getting the first spot, we even had grass for the dog. Excellent, very idyllic.
Wonderful place. Payment via the EasyPark app. The code for the toilet/shower arrives as soon as you start the parking session. Electricity also included. The only thing missing is a way to dispose of grey/black water, but otherwise perfect. Nice surroundings, great for walking.
A site between manor house, nature, and history. Very quiet location. Toilets and showers are available in the manor house and are clean. Good starting point for hikes or walks, with barbecue areas and much more.
Lovely place with beautiful hiking trails in the national park! Spacious pitches with electricity and a fresh service building. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of emptying grey/black water. Dogs are not welcome in the restaurant, café, shop, etc., which lowers the rating by one star for us.
Large parking area with pitches, electricity, and completely newly renovated facilities (toilet/shower). Beautiful hiking trails in the area.
Large parking lot with sensibly separated pitches. Nice walking opportunities, but there are always mosquitoes. Shower and toilet are functional but somewhat dated. Very quiet overnight. Breakfast is available at the café, but must be ordered 24 hours in advance (?).
I find it very unpleasant that we pay 250 kroner for the official motorhome pitch and then five low-loaders from the construction site park there, using the pitch as a break and sleeping area and parking us in. We had no choice but to drive on in the evening.
Good place to park. You have to pay with the EasyPark app, and they give you a code to open the bathroom and shower door. It is worth highlighting that there are rubbish bins nearby. The bathroom is a little far away and the facilities are not modern, but they serve their purpose.
Very easily accessible park/motorhome pitch. Well-marked spaces with electricity connections. Water connection, shower, and toilet in the service building by the hotel. Payment via the EasyPark app.
Free drinking water refill without staying overnight.
Because electrical problems on board meant we couldn't stay off-grid as planned, the pitch was more of an emergency solution. Yes, it is only a parking area with electricity connections, and the showers/toilets are not new or accessible, but they serve their purpose and at least they exist. Drinking water is also available; we did not use the disposal facilities. Great surroundings!!
Fantastic campsite environment. Clean but somewhat older toilet and shower. Only one toilet and one double shower. Very good walking paths for dogs. We paid 200 including electricity via the app.
Pitch with a beautiful view of the lake, 200 SEK is okay, but the showers are absolutely unacceptable here... disgustingly outdated, brown beetles... I don't even want to know what they are. And the water smells strange... better avoid it.
