Memorial parking, quiet overnight

A large refurbished parking area beside E10, rather than a picnic area, with a memorial park directly behind it. There is very little road traffic, and overnight parking was possible. Toilet paper has been reported around the Second World War monument, so visitors should take their waste with them.

Keep Norway clean Toilet paper everywhere around a monument commemorating the Second World War! Take your paper with you; it is because of this kind of behaviour that countries eventually ban wild camping. This country is magnificent, preserve it! The parking area is used to visit this monument and the lake behind it. It is sloping, so not really suitable for spending the night.
