1 Fabrikstraße, 23568, Lübeck
Been here?
This is a basic open parking area in an industrial setting, with views of the water and ships passing about 15m away. There are no services, and it is mainly suitable for a short overnight stop, including before a ferry departure. Recent stays report substantial noise from factories, trucks and harbor work, with occasional heavy-oil smells from passing ships.

This is not really a parking area. It is very noisy because of factories and trucks starting early in the morning. There is also loud work at the harbor, plus heavy fuel oil from passing ships. Better to continue to Lübeck, to the MuK, and enjoy staying by the Trave with access to the city.
It is best to set the navigation to avoid tolls; we paid €4.50 for the Herreninsel tunnel. We had a quiet night.
A simple place in an industrial area. Perfectly okay for one night.
Simply superb for one night before taking the ferry!
Not a great pitch, but perfectly fine for spending the night.
You have to form your own opinion. Despite the positive comments, I did not like the place and drove on.
Absolutely not a place to enjoy and not pet-friendly either. An industrial-area site, full of potholes, with a burned-out car at the edge. I had a strange feeling and preferred to drive on.
Nice to be able to stand here for a while until the ferry to Helsinki leaves tonight. Do not expect too much; it is a parking area in an industrial setting. Nice to watch the boats passing by.
A good place for people who want to secure a parking spot at Timmendorfer Strand the next morning (in high season). From here, it is practically just a stone’s throw away.
There is a chemical factory here (Worlee). When we wanted to stop, it smelled dangerously of plastic. A local resident explained that stopping is only allowed for one night for rest. Apparently, the many motorhomes overdid it. A shame. The municipal regulatory office now carries out irregular checks.
When we arrived, we felt more like leaving than spending the night. Another motorhome turned around. Industrial area, car scrapyard, and the parking area itself occupied by long-term parked cars. Nevertheless, the night was quiet despite our apprehension. Another van arrived around midnight. Otherwise, beautiful sunset and large ships passing by. Just right for one free overnight stop.
Quiet place with a view of the Trave. There are still some other parked (defective) cars here, but also several campers.
Lovely and quiet place with a wonderful view.
It was quiet, and the friendly greetings from walkers made us feel welcome. You are practically beside the water, separated only by a railway track, which did not disturb us either. No facilities, and the place itself is nothing special, but overall it is absolutely fine. We would come again.
Good and peaceful stop overnight.
Not a designated parking area, just a storage area in the harbor district.
We arrived at 2:00 a.m. In the dark, it did not feel safe to us. We drove on.
Simple parking area shared with cars. Calm day and night, with a beautiful view.
When we arrived, the place was already quite full. We drove a few meters farther, to what I believe was a former landing place for an excursion boat. In any case, it looks as though it is no longer in service. We had a great view of the water and the passing ships and boats. We had a quiet night. Toward morning, activity begins in the harbor area.
When approaching, turn immediately before the Netto supermarket into Fabrikstraße. Do not drive into the center of Schlutup; from there, access is quite narrow for wider motorhomes. During the day the place is fairly full, but toward evening there is more space again. It is also popular with anglers during the herring season. Perfectly okay for one night.
Super beautiful place with a great view of the water and harbor facilities. Very quiet!!!
We had a very quiet night here, and the view of the Trave is very beautiful! The place itself is just a gravel area with potholes and cars parked by the car dealership opposite, so it is not the prettiest, but with the door facing the water you do not notice any of that! The surroundings are an industrial area, which is not bothersome but not beautiful either. We spent the night with three other campers.
