Basic seaside parking, no toilets

Spectacular location, basic services, 2A electricity, and mobile vendors arriving from 6:30 in the morning. There is nothing around, but it is a very relaxing place.

The five stars are essentially because of the enchanting location. An exceptional sea view and, without a doubt, a Caribbean-like sea. The services provided are basic. But as soon as I return to the area, this will definitely be my first stop!

WOW! If you are lucky enough to find one of the spots by the sea available, you will never want to leave. True, it does not have extensive facilities, but it has everything necessary to stay even two weeks… vans selling all the essential goods and food products come by every day. You can dive into the water directly from behind the camper or walk three minutes to the beach.

A perfectly adequate parking area with all the basic services. Rocky beaches nearby, and a sandy one a little farther on. In the morning, vendors sell local produce, fruit, vegetables and cheese. The hostess is friendly. Cat lovers will especially enjoy it.

Fantastic view, and the lady who welcomes you is extremely kind. Too bad the water is desalinated and there are no showers.

The view is unique, but it is nothing more than a dusty dirt parking area, honestly poorly maintained and deserving of better. There are no toilets; water and waste disposal are available; electrical hookup is limited to 420W. €20 for 24 hours. In September there is no bus, no motorbike/car rental and no supermarket, only mobile vendors selling local products. I recommend it for a short stop.

As always, I come back. If for no other reason than to enjoy the sea view on three sides. Services are below minimum. A fair price of €20. No improvements in recent years; apparently it works well enough for us and for the lovely owner, especially since if you want to come to Punta Prosciutto, this is the only option.

Nothing more than a very dusty parking area on dry grass. A row of fairly low trees on one side. Almost nonexistent electricity, 2A. One cold outdoor shower. Water and waste disposal. No toilets. The €30 cost is justified by the location and surroundings. Avoid it if it is very hot. We left after a few hours and paid €15. In hindsight, I would not have stopped.

For the price (€30 in August), it is really not very welcoming. 2A electricity. The water is well water that has been micro-filtered, and there are only rocks in front. As already mentioned, the beach is 150 metres away. In my opinion, for the price of the pitch there could have been a 4A hookup.

Excellent for those who do not need facilities and are adaptable. Black- and grey-water disposal. Among the olive trees there are two showers for rinsing, without soap, with lukewarm water; they are fine. Do your shopping before coming because there are no shops. The run-down condition of the area is offset by the magnificent view and the beauty of Punta Prosciutto, making it a top place to spend one or more nights if you are reasonably self-sufficient.

Magnificent place right by the sea! The view is worth it; I planned to stay one night and stayed four days! The site is run by two very kind ladies. There are no toilets or washbasins, so you must be self-sufficient. There is a water point, grey- and black-water disposal, and two outdoor showers among the trees—beautiful! During the day, local vendors pass by selling mozzarella, focaccia, fruit and vegetables.

A parking area in an excellent location, with basic services and excellent hospitality from the owner. I understand not wanting to provide enough power for air conditioning, but not being able to make a coffee with a 300W espresso machine seems excessive.

A very nice area in a strategic and beautiful location. Too bad the 220V supply is only enough to keep the fridge running.

Breathtaking view, with the possibility of swimming from the rocks or at free or serviced beaches 200 metres from the parking area. The facilities could be better. In the morning there is a calm but refreshing breeze, so you can comfortably sit under the shade of the trees with a deckchair or chair. There are no supermarkets nearby, but mobile vendors pass by.

Very basic camper stop (only water, waste disposal, electricity and cold outdoor showers). The wonderful location makes up for it: just a short walk from the beach and rocks. We stayed two nights and were happy. Every afternoon, vendors come by selling mozzarella, hot calzoni, bread, taralli, potato croquettes, biscuits and many other very fresh and tasty products.

Fantastic location opposite the sea; sandy beaches, both free and with beach facilities, are just a few metres away on foot, and the sea is beautiful. Water (also available at the pitch), waste disposal and electricity (not suitable for air conditioning). Various vendors pass during the day selling excellent local products. There are no toilets or other facilities, but for a few days you can do without them since modern campers have everything ( €20).

Spartan parking area with basic services: waste disposal, electricity, recycling bins, shade under tamarisk trees, exceptional sea view and nighttime silence. Shuttle connection to nearby towns (€1, hourly). Various walks in the nature reserve towards Torre Colimena and two nearby beaches make it an unrivalled area in Salento. We have been coming for three years and have always had a wonderful stay. The showers could be improved.

The parking area offers nothing except the sea view. There are no facilities: only a cold shower, with no soap allowed; waste disposal but no potable-water refill; and insufficient electricity even just to keep the fridge running. We ended up paying €20 simply to park the camper. Unfortunately, I must point out one thing: outside the parking area there is rubbish EVERYWHERE…

Terrible place: no shower, no toilet, no shade, and you have to pay for waste disposal. Zero services, yet you pay.

€30 just for waste disposal! Non-potable water. No services, no toilets and no shower. Electricity at the bare minimum (the fridge has to run on gas...) Mobile vendors shouting at 7 in the morning... The beach is a nightmare; they put their parasols right between your legs...

The sea-view parking is beautiful, but the space is very tight. The water refill service is really poor because barely any water comes out. I tried another fountain, but it was closed. I asked the owner to open it and he replied: “No, sorry, it’s closed.” ? The electricity also does not work, while the other sockets work but are all occupied. We paid €30… for what?
