Camping Oyambre Beach

The beach was beautiful, but the campsite was rather cramped and the sanitary facilities somewhat old and not very lovingly maintained. We stayed behind permanent campers, where it was very quiet, and everyone was very friendly.

Impeccable campsite right by the beach, attentive and friendly staff, clean facilities. Recommended.

It’s probably worth it if you get a front-row pitch; otherwise, the pitches between the permanent campers are not very nice and have no shade. Facilities are okay. Small, poorly stocked shop. Only one decent restaurant nearby. Other than that, there’s nothing. Extremely overpriced for all this. Paid €64 for two adults and two children.

The price is on the high side: €46 for two people with a small van, for a tiny pitch without electricity. The photos are fairly misleading. It is a large, busy campsite next to a road. The beach is close by. We have already stayed at much nicer places in this region.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is poor. At €50 per night, there is no toilet paper in the toilets, and the shower is either hot or cold, after which the entire room is flooded—no matter how good the view is.

Third-world sanitary facilities. Poor value for money. €44 for one night.

A nice campsite next to the beach. Site is split by a road and we were on the beach side. Simple facilities but clean. A nice bar on the main site.

The sights in the beach area are spectacular!!!! Very friendly service. The campsite has everything, but what we loved most was the view of the beach from our pitch, right next to the stairs leading down to the beach. €32 including electricity in May.

We were lucky to find a pitch with an ocean view. A little expensive for September 17: two people, car with a rooftop tent and electricity (€44). The showers and welcome could be improved—we waited 20 minutes at reception, then met a woman who asked us for information and alerted the owners. But the landscape makes up for the minor shortcomings. You can really feel the surfing atmosphere!

We had a pitch near the beach, with no view, for one night: two people, one dog, TV4, with electricity, €44. Sanitary facilities good; even with only two toilets and one shower for the section, there was no queue. Surfer- and dog-friendly. There is a sign prohibiting dogs on the beach, but it is tolerated without problems. Many Spaniards with well-behaved, sometimes off-leash dogs. The campsite has a bar serving tortilla and a few small lunch/dinner options.

The photos here are misleading. The campsite has two sections. About 10–15 pitches have sea views and direct beach access. You need a lot of luck to get one of these pitches, even in September. All the other pitches are at the back of the campsite, behind the main road, and are not nicely located. The sanitary facilities are old and not particularly clean. The site is far too expensive.

It’s okay, but expensive in my opinion: €88 for a camper without electricity and two people. The best thing is the location right on the beach. Clean bathrooms and a small shop; we didn’t try the bar. There is a laundry area and barbecue, but I couldn’t find the fresh-water or waste-water facilities.

As a surfers’ spot, certainly okay; otherwise just okay. Old but clean sanitary facilities, showers not always hot! We wouldn’t come back!

We arrived without a reservation at 10 p.m. and they had a place for us, which was a big positive. There are quite a few showers and toilets, but apparently this campsite shares bathrooms with another, more surfer-oriented and youthful one. The comment below about the receptionist is true.

Very nice campsite in a great location. We arrived without a reservation and were able to stay one night without any problems. Very nice people. Clean sanitary facilities. The site is generally very well maintained. There is also a small football pitch with goals, which our boys really enjoyed. The beach is 2 minutes away. Very spacious, with good waves for surfing. It could be a little cheaper.

If you want to stay for 7 days, it is possible… otherwise booking is impossible. Move on.

Campsite with light and shadows. Very positive is the fantastic beach and the spectacular beachside view from the row one pitches. What we found disappointing are the very high prices in 2025 (pitch 35 Euro, adult 18 Euro, electricity 10 Euro the day) and very basic showers and toilets. Not even near to the advertised "glamping" conditions.

Mediocre campsite. Too few showers for so many people, so there is a queue to shower. Very expensive for the services provided and the poor cleanliness. They rely on being right next to the beach. But I think there are better and cheaper options just 10 minutes away.

The site is great, right next to the beach and with a beach bar nearby. Extremely expensive for the services it offers… actually, almost none… but it is still worth it because of the location. There is nothing else: a privileged location right next to the beach.

Excellent campsite, friendly welcome, and it also has washing-machine and dryer facilities.

It could have five stars for its location, with a spectacular beach. But it is very expensive for a campsite where you have to queue for the shower and there is a noisy road next to it. €38 for a VW T6 and two people for one night.

Nice place, but a very expensive campsite: €38.50. The pitches are small, the showers barely lukewarm, and access to the grey-water service is impossible. We were able to walk to Comillas; it was a beautiful walk.
