Mountain parking, overnight banned

Overnight stays are no longer possible. No parking after 8 p.m.

Only grey-water disposal is possible. Black-water disposal is no longer possible; it has been blocked, with a large rock placed on top.

Parking more suitable for vans than motorhomes. Not practical for maneuvering. Too close to the road. Little space, about 10 spots. Avoid. No water or electricity. Good 4G/5G reception.

Perfect location for hiking start.

Great place for the night. A little too close to the road for us, but fortunately very quiet at the moment. Note that many hiking trails are closed from November through April, which is a shame. We still enjoyed a beautiful walk. We slept here completely alone.

Spent two relaxing nights up here in a snowstorm; it was incredibly cozy! The restaurants in the surrounding area are decent.

Quiet parking during this period, alone. Without leveling blocks it is impossible to get level.

Height barriers everywhere. The upper parking lot remains, with six spaces, and it is impossible to turn around if they are occupied. They are redoing the road and businesses and driving away customers.

Once a huge parking lot!!! Now a sardine tin... and beware of overhangs, they may scrape; barriers everywhere. I am furious; it was one of my favorite places on the Route des Crêtes. I drove on, what a shame for the restaurateurs. We ate down at Hohneck.

A really nice free place for one night while passing through. A summer toboggan run is right next door. Great for children and adults.

Disposal is no longer possible. Grey water does not drain and the toilet-emptying shaft is closed. Unfortunately, this was one of the few disposal options on the Route des Crêtes.

Good for an overnight stay. Unfortunately, we could not do anything because it rained continuously.

Extremely annoying because cars park in the motorhome spaces. On the other hand, barriers have been installed in the other parking lots so that we cannot park. A “motorhome parking” sign would still be welcome.

Very good for one night if you are self-sufficient. Suitable for about 10 motorhomes. Direct sunlight. Busy in summer.

For emptying grey water, everything is blocked. Nothing is available anymore for emptying black water.

We were supposed to spend the night here, then enjoy the sledging and a meal at an inn the next day, but given how little space the town leaves us, we continued along the Route des Crêtes. A shame, because the businesses lose out. The disposal point is unusable because it is blocked.

The space is limited and not really level for motorhomes. As for the wastewater disposal, you have to ask on site where it is, but in any case it was unusable because it was blocked. If they cannot give us more space, especially in winter, motorhome users might as well go skiing or elsewhere. Otherwise, nothing special to report for the night.

It is clear they no longer want motorhomes: height restrictions of 1.90 m are now in place, leaving only a small area for five or six motorhomes. A disgrace. Too bad you cannot give zero stars. We will spend our money elsewhere.

We arrived late in the evening and the place was almost empty. In the morning from 10 a.m. onward, it was completely full. Superb hiking area with different levels of difficulty, and two great summer toboggan runs right by the parking lot.

One perfectly quiet and safe night in a van. A little chilly in the morning, but we are in the mountains.

Nothing to say, except that it is cold at night in this parking lot.

Passing through La Schlucht, it is impossible to park a motorhome. There are barriers in all the parking lots. Only five or six spaces remain for motorhomes. A shame for the businesses and summer market vendors!

Passing through at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the five or six motorhome spaces were occupied, so we could not stop. A shame about the restaurant visit planned there. (They will be delighted...) Legally, height barriers are supposed to warn of a danger... I did not see what danger, and not to discriminate against motorhomes... Many thanks to the municipality for its awaited response. We will not come here again.

Let’s simply boycott Col de la Schlucht... Apparently they no longer want motorhomes, with their height barriers. Only vans can go there, and we know they are not the most self-sufficient when it comes to respecting places. There are only the few five spaces above, which are very difficult to access and may be occupied by cars. Definitely, I will not return to the pass... the Route des Crêtes, yes...

For five spaces—possibly seven if the motorhomes are parked properly, which is not the case today.

A beautiful starting point for hiking. Unfortunately, there is now very little space for motorhomes. A small area has no height restriction. What a shame! After the hike we drove on to make room for others who arrived in the evening.

Height barriers have arrived!!! Only part of the parking lot remains accessible (for how long?) Public toilet and grey-water disposal.

The two platforms are closed by height barriers. Platform 3 remains open but is too far away to anticipate.

The height restriction applies to a large part of the car-parking spaces. One section for about 8 to 10 motorhomes has no height restriction and is easy to reach. Behind the grey building, grey water and the chemical toilet can be emptied (separate drain), unfortunately without rinsing. The photos are no longer current!

Site closed. Barrier prohibiting access to vehicles over 2 meters high.

We stayed quietly for one night. A good alternative to Hohneck for spending the night. Information: height restriction posts are currently being installed.

Excellent spot for stopping and hiking around the area. Busy during the day but very quiet at night. Nice inn. Clean sanitary facilities and water available at the Tétras site.

This is more of a parking lot than an area reserved for motorhomes. The grey-water disposal area is extremely small and directly in front of a building door. Water filling does not appear to be possible in winter; moreover, when we passed, absolutely everything was closed.

Very pleasant site; we did not find the disposal facilities... Beautiful walks... Only the inn was open.

Very beautiful place at the foot of the slopes. We were parked a little to the side in front of the crêperie. An extremely, extremely windy night. We will remember it! (No services, but public toilets.)
