Canal-side parking, quiet nights

Very beautiful place. Quiet; we were alone with fishermen, two or three cars and a campervan that arrived around 10 p.m. Lots of walkers and runners in the morning. Clean and not too noisy at night, only noisier in the morning with cars farther away.✦Translating

In the morning, a big surprise: people always say that motorhome travelers respect nothing, but here a car driver opened the door and threw all his rubbish onto the parking area. Arriving in the evening allowed us to enjoy the place on the Canal du Midi. Lots of cars in the morning, mostly runners or people out for a walk. The children's playground is very exposed to the sun, but the children were able to enjoy it. A lovely surprise!✦Translating

The problem with this area is that there are always cars parked, making it very difficult to maneuver and find a space. On top of that, we encountered a drunk person, so we left.✦Translating

We came from the D813 road and did not cross any bridge; I understand it must be on the other side of the river. We are traveling in a motorhome and access was completely fine. There were already five other motorhomes, and we felt safe and comfortable. There is a children's park next door where our children also played. Perfect for cycling along the canal.✦Translating

Next to a playground and the Canal du Midi, with an exclusive path for cycling or walking without cars. Highly recommended. We slept very peacefully for one night. It can be accessed through the residential area without having to cross the bridge. When we visited, there was no 24-hour signage.✦Translating

Very practical spot on the outskirts of Toulouse. We arrived very late in the evening after attending a rugby match at the stadium. There are quite a few motorhomes here, but we found a little space for ourselves. Road noise in the distance. A good emergency stopover.✦Translating
