Superb, very quiet location. The sandy beach is less than five minutes’ walk away, if you are lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset.Translating
We first went to the viewpoint further up the road, but there was a very sketchy 4G signal, so we came here. Full 4G and a beach for the dog. And a bin! There is only one here, and it is so peaceful.Translating
Usually a very busy spot, but luckily we had it to ourselves. One of our favourite spots on this road. Lots of workers installing pipes this winter. Slight slope.Translating
Fairly large tarmac car park close to the beach, perfect stop for our motorhome. Very quiet and full phone 4G.Translating
Great for a one-night stay. However, we were woken by what I think was a large deer next to our campervan making extremely loud, strange noises. I suppose it is all part of the charm. So do not be afraid if you hear something; just leave them alone and they will go away.Translating
Not very level, but there is a lovely beach and it is very quiet at night. Quite a lot of campervans around, but a lovely atmosphere.Translating
Arrived tonight. Three other vans here. Lovely little spot next to the road. The beautiful pink beach is about a five-minute walk away. The car park is on a slight slope.Translating
Beautiful place so close to the beach. Absolute peace and only moonlight at night. We were alone there—perfect!Translating
Nice quiet spot with no services, and a pleasant walk to a pink sandy beach. Slightly sloping.Translating
Great view and quiet. We were able to observe wildlife. The car park is well surfaced and slightly sloping, but perfectly fine. What more could you want?Translating
Great spot, right next to a MOD site, which is a bit spooky, but with a fabulous beach down a short path.Translating
A quiet place for the night with a beautiful view. In the morning, a few extra cars parked with people going on a hike.Translating
We spent one night here. It was somewhat stormy, but the surroundings make up for everything :-) We would gladly come again!Translating
Extraordinary view. Indeed, some spaces are sloping, but nothing serious. Watch out for the wind gusts, though!Translating
Excellent parking area! Like almost all the parking areas in this region, it offers great views and is also convenient for motorhomes.Translating
Superb view over the bay. Walks along the beach and its large dune are right nearby. The area is quiet apart from a few helicopter flyovers, but that is only a minor issue.Translating
Very good in the low season, in April.Translating
You can walk to the beach from the car park. We slept wonderfully here with about five or six other campers on a summer evening.Translating
This is a relatively nice spot with a nearby beach. We were not bothered in the evening, except that every vehicle was swarmed by what must have been about a million midges! Opening the door for barely one second was met with instant regret. Be considerate if you stay here; there is a bin, but barbecues and fires are not allowed.Translating
Good night here, although we were woken by passing vehicles and a helicopter heading down to the military base in the morning. We might not have noticed if we had been farther into the car park.Translating
We were unlucky—too many midges, wet weather and very tall grass. We had to move because it was impossible to be outside. But the view and location are good.Translating
Visually, the site is perfectly fine and the location by the lake is beautiful. Free of charge. But it is not a quiet place, because the nearby A343 is busy all night, about 30 metres away as the crow flies. From six in the morning, joggers and dog owners arrive.Translating
I liked this little spot. We arrived in the dark, but it was very close to a nice-looking residential area, so we felt safe. In the morning, we woke to a lovely large pond and a great big park for a pleasant walk. Dog walkers arrived early, and you can hear the main road even though it feels far from one. Road noise on one side and ducks on the other. I would still use it again!Translating
