Well located for visiting Mainz, Wiesbaden, and Frankfurt. About a 15-minute walk from an S-Bahn/bus station. Around €35 per night for two people and a van. A pleasant snack bar with very reasonable prices. The only drawback is that you should bring cash to pay.✦Translating

Quiet location at the tip of the Maaraue peninsula, with mature trees (beware of bird-dropping trees), nicely shaded. Excellent showers, everything very clean. Nice. Van, 2 adults: €30.50 including electricity, plus €5 city tourist tax per adult per day in Wiesbaden. Small kiosk with terrace and Rhine views, serving hot and cold snacks. The campsite deserves 4 stars. Everything is very 1970s, but okay and spotlessly clean. Booking, check-in, issuing visitor cards, and cash payment take an unbelievably long time. The location is beautiful and close to Mainz. The site is quiet and shady. Bread delivery is available. The sanitary facilities, dishwashing area, and laundry area urgently need renovation and are very poorly maintained! Only the bare minimum is cleaned once a day. You are not allowed to put a mat in front of the camper, while awnings are permitted—unintelligible. Cash only, with the motto “cash is king”—unacceptable.✦Translating

Beautiful spot directly on the Rhine and pleasantly quiet. Very friendly reception staff. The sanitary facilities are excellent. Shower and electricity are included. Grey and black water disposal is also available. We asked for a spot closer to the river, and that was no problem. Air traffic is not disruptive, nor are the ships on the Rhine. It was unfortunate that, despite booking well in advance, we were placed on the only unmown meadow (belonging to the city) where we were not allowed to put down a blanket, while the tents already there covered what felt like ten times as much space.
