Shaded green site, shared kitchen

The owner was away and a friend of the owners met me and showed me the place, fantastic service and a paradise if you like nature and peaceful surroundings. This has to be one of the most underrated places I have visited. This is heaven for nature lovers who want peace and quiet for the soul.

Karin and Giulio are two wonderful people. They make delicious bread and have created a beautiful, welcoming place. On Thursdays there is a relaxed evening with pizza made by them. The space is large and spacious, with plenty of shade for campers, rooftop tents and tents. The place has a bathroom and an always-clean indoor shower. Electricity and running water are available.✦Translating

We spent two days in this large, wooded park. When it is hot, it is very pleasant under the pine trees. It is very quiet, and the owners have created many cozy little places to sit, as well as a summer kitchen that can be used. After the large seaside campsites, it was a haven of peace. Very large meadow with an exceptionally friendly host. Thursday is pizza night, but it must be booked in advance. Access to the property must also be arranged in advance via WhatsApp, and even so, everything was very relaxed. A peaceful and quiet 2-hectare place. Giulio and Karin are excellent and very kind hosts. We spent pleasant moments with them during our two-day stay. There is no option for emptying gray or black water. There is only one bathroom with a shower. In winter, there is not enough hot water for two people to shower consecutively. How to describe this place? Here, the motto is “sharing.” The hosts are generous and available, and ready to share their meals (pizzas) while welcoming friends, some of whom are excellent musicians. The facilities are like everything else: bohemian—old but clean. A shame about the many mosquitoes.✦Translating

This is a very nice place to stay for Times as you want. We wanted to stay 2 night, and Karin & Julio are so kind and so friendly that you want to spend more time with them. Close to Lecce and with all commodities. Very quiet and green area. Thanks both of them. We come back.

We stayed here a few days ago, arriving at sunset and first being welcomed by beautiful countryside, then by the green gate: a paradise. Carin and Giulio provide everything necessary for complete peace and quiet. Let yourself relax and stay there! Facilities and communal areas, electricity and a fairytale garden. And pizza on Thursdays, made by them. Highly recommended!

Karin is very kind and welcoming. The site is quirky and fairly spartan. One toilet and shower but it is hot and included in the price as is toilet roll and soap! We found it dark under the trees but I love the sun! A great cycle into Lecce which was the highlight of our holiday. Well worth visiting. We found it to have a lot of mosquitos so ensure you have your insect repellent!

Very quiet place. Karin is a wonderful host, helpful and very friendly. €20 per night with electricity and shower (no gray-water emptying), but filling with water is possible.

We spent two nights here and were satisfied for the price. You can visit many cities and the sea from here. The owner speaks good English.

Campsite on a beautiful enclosed property. Many shaded pitches in a pine grove. You must write on WhatsApp beforehand. Very kind person. Immaculate showers and toilets. €5 per person.

Not a normal Service Area, it is a family that provides space (and services) in the closed farm for a few CCs, you NEED to call in advance to get in. Great shade, good in hot summer days. Safe place to leave CC and go to Lecce by bike (45min).

Absolutely wonderful, such a warm welcome that you almost feel at home! In addition, the place is quiet, shaded and spacious—it is really great! The location is also perfect, close to a supermarket and the beaches. You really should stop here!

From Via Vecchia Frigole, turn the corner and enter Via del Frullino at number 1, green gate.

We did not actually stay; our fault, as we did not notify the hosts. We arrived without notice, found the gate closed and left after 10 minutes. The woman called us to apologize (she did not need to) and invited us to come back and spend the night. We did not because we were already parked near the beach. They genuinely cared a lot. Quiet and shaded place.

Ideal base for Lecce and the beach. The campsite is enclosed by walls with a large gate. Call or send a WhatsApp message in advance; then they will be there to show you how to enter the first time. There is a toilet and shower, the possibility to cook and a covered sitting area. An oasis of peace among the pine trees. No possibility of emptying gray or black water. For us, a perfect campsite with very kind people—highly recommended.

Quiet site with in shaded trees - lovely host very welcoming it rained so we didn’t get the Thursday night pizza night ( not their fault) no bins which was strange - electric was weak as a shared connection between vans. Small town within walking distance but nothing there this time of year. 20 minutes on scooter into Lecce - it’s dark nation based so please give what you can to help support.

Electricity-equipped aire that helped us out for one night, with a very warm welcome. Madam speaks a little French. We did not need any other services since we were self-sufficient. Quiet night; we heard whistles in the evening and at night, presumably from an owl, which even landed on the motorhome. Given how close the sound was, it was not too bothersome.

Excellent place, very pleasant. The communal areas are very nice, and Karin and Giulio are very welcoming. We felt very comfortable there. If we return to the region, we will visit them again.
