Hiking parking, valley views

Perfect for one night. Great spot with sunset views. The upper spaces are reasonably level. The road noise did not bother us; we sleep with earplugs!!!

Very noisy place, with the motorway running right alongside it. I did not feel comfortable and eventually went to a nicer place a few minutes farther on.

We stayed here for one night. We found it very pleasant. A little sloping, otherwise great.

We experienced a peaceful night surrounded by nature. Yes, the parking area is sloped, but we recommend it. As we drove through the city, we noted that Kassel is very nice.

Unfortunately very noisy because it is directly by the road. And really, really uneven. Getting level is practically impossible. There was also activity here for a long time. I then drove on.

Very sloped parking area... great view over the valley

The area is large, so nobody is bothered by a few campers. We had a beautiful sunset, which many locals specifically drive up to see. The night was quiet and the road had little traffic. However, the parking area is very sloped; even on the third leveling step we were not level! The upper parking spaces are not quite as sloped, but they get direct sun.

With leveling blocks, great for one night. A beautiful sunset included! Very quiet and lots of space.

Great parking area with a wonderful view of the sunset! I almost accidentally drove past the entrance, though. There is a bin, a picnic bench, and two short hiking trails. I walked the 2 km loop with my dog in the morning before we continued. I would definitely park here again!
