This is a large roadside parking area beside Loch Shin, with beautiful but inaccessible lake views. It is not a passing place; the passing place is in front. There may be occasional passing cars in the evening and from 7:30 in the morning, but nights are generally quiet. The lay-by is flat and suitable for several vehicles.

I don't ordinarily give out 5 stars, but this spot just got one. Great (inaccessible) view of the lake, peaceful enough with the odd passing car, have the place completely to ourselves. Pure bliss.
View over the lake, but no access to the water. Very large space for many vehicles. We had a very quiet night.Translating
This is a good distance from the main road, down a quiet side road. The layby is a really good size and the views of the water are beautiful too. We really enjoyed staying the night there.

Great spot. There are big parking spots all the way down this road, (not passing places). Take a drive down for further options!
