Been here?
A sheltered quarry spot with red stones, excellent views across the loch and surrounding summits, and little traffic. It is 3 miles from the ferry crossing and becomes quieter at night after the last ferry has crossed. There are no amenities, and recent rock barriers have moved parking closer to the road because of possible rockfall risk. Wet weather can leave vehicles stuck in mud.

The place has been blocked off with boulders, probably because of the risk of falling rocks. However, there is no sign prohibiting overnight stays. You can still spend the night there, but it is now closer to the road.
Excellent parking spot slightly set back from the road, with less noise at night from the few passing cars, while still offering a superb view of the loch and the surrounding peaks.
Great place, as already mentioned. We had a quiet night. Unfortunately, someone started dumping garden waste there. What a shame. Hopefully it will not continue.
Sheltered spot, with view on the Loch (and the road). Not far from the ferry. The road is quiet once the last ferry has crossed. Quiet spot, no aneminities. Wouldn’t recommend when it is raining or just after as you may stay stuck in the mud. Otherwise good and lot of wildlife on the loch in the morning. No signs stating no overnight parking.
Great stop with excellent view and able to paddle in the water. Small channel to cross to get to parking can only assume been installed to relieve water ingress to quarry area, no problems for normal Motorhome or Campervan just be aware if arriving in the dusk. Lucky view of local deer. Road a little noisy but hey it’s free. No amenities.
