Quiet, spacious site ideal for self-contained vehicles. Perfect for a family stopover: the children can enjoy the nearby natural swimming pool and its games all day, giving parents a real break. As a bonus, hot showers are available at the pool. We highly recommend it.✦Translating

Excellent pitch at a beautiful natural swimming pool. We arrived around 4 p.m., and the entire area was full of cars belonging to visitors to the band. Around 6 p.m. we managed to find a nice spot. As campers, we were also allowed to use the pool’s showers and toilets for free. Services were available for €2. We recommend arriving early or very late in summer.✦Translating

Very beautiful motorhome area at the natural pool. However, after the pool opened, we were completely boxed in by cars. Keep this in mind in good weather if you don’t plan to spend the night and want to leave. We’ll gladly return.✦Translating

We stayed one night. Quiet place; we didn’t use the services. Free pitch, but on grass, so be careful if it rains—it can quickly become slippery and there is a risk of getting stuck!✦Translating

It is a big meadow next to the local swimming pool (when we were there it was unfortunately closed for the low season) but only nine motorhomes per night are allowed. We still got a place around 7 PM and altrungh the ground is a bit soft we had no issues with the rain. We felt safe and the proximity to a road didn't bothered us because there was almost no traffic. It was also free of charge.

We arrived late in the evening and easily found a space. Unfortunately, it is very muddy after heavy rain. We still got away without problems. Nice and quiet, and great that this option exists! We didn’t use the disposal station, but it appears to be working again. Others used it.✦Translating

The place itself is quite nice, and the road is naturally audible. However, some campers have settled there permanently in their “luxury” liners and even receive outside visitors for coffee. Seriously? This is a FREE offer from the municipality for one overnight stay. Find a seasonal pitch and PLEASE PAY FOR IT! We drove on.✦Translating

I stayed overnight here with a car and rooftop tent. No problem. Plenty of space on the meadow. From there, hikes in the heath can quickly be reached by car. In Schneverdingen you pass several supermarkets. A trash bin would have been nice. But for free parking, it’s really excellent!

Can't fault it, quiet, grassy spots surrounded by trees. Officially 9 motorhomes allowed but I'm not sure how or even if that is enforced. 2 euros in the machine to open the gate to access services and 15 minutes of water once you've paid. Drinking water tap labelled.

Thanks to the municipality for the site. The swimming pool is great! However, the road was also very disturbingly loud for us because cars unfortunately race past.

A beautiful large meadow with plenty of space and good waste and water facilities. Unfortunately, the swimming pool only opens late in the morning, except on weekends, so our schedule did not allow us to visit. It looked appealing, though.

Yes, there is a road next to it—does that bother you? You can also queue up ;) Overall, a very lovely spot, and since it is free, it is perfectly adequate.

A very beautiful, free and quiet site, which nevertheless only gets 4 stars because—as is so often the case in Germany—money was saved on the rubbish bin. Unfortunately, this repeatedly encourages people to dispose of rubbish elsewhere.
