Camping Kivu

We are giving one star because we cannot give zero. Electrical cables are exposed everywhere in the “campsite”; there is a very strong sewage smell in the sanitary facilities; stray cats visit you; abandoned caravans without windows, and so on. In short, there is absolutely no maintenance in this “campsite,” nothing meets standards—avoid it.

If you want a quiet place near the beach with all services, this is ideal. The only drawback was a couple in a wooden bungalow with a white dog that defecated on the pitches and did not clean it up. During my one-day stay, there were two piles next to my camper.

We cannot really assess this properly. We had reserved, but ended up at the neighboring site. For the price it is fine, but there is no room for large motorhomes; there are many long-term campers and very overdue maintenance. Noisy, and the restaurant staff were extremely unfriendly. We wanted to order food but were told it was no longer possible, while others were served normally—strange!

Good campsite by the sea with a nice swimming pool. It costs €37.40 per night for a car, tent, two people, and electricity.

Very simple site, overhead sun canopy's are far too low and dark, sinks for each pitch are filthy, showers and toilets dated but clean, free washing machine which is in constant use. No bins, you have to leave the site and walk down the road for the bins. Very expensive for what you get. Nice pool but only opens morning and evening. No grey emptying, can only fill tank with a container.

Campsite not adapted for motorhomes. It has some incomprehensible cables, and they ripped off my antenna.

We loved our stay here, (once we finally found the owner of the site). it's very basic, quiet, rustic, but immaculate facilities, and right next to the beach. The few full time people that lice here are lovely and welcoming. if we could I would love to stay longer.

I had a great time here. Instead of two nights, I stayed eight because I liked it so much. It is cozy and uncomplicated here, directly on the beach. The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated but spotlessly clean, and there is very hot water. Every very large pitch has its own sink. Electricity is charged according to consumption.
