Public parking by the museum of the 1864 battle for the Düppel Mill, with no service facilities. Toilets are open from 06 - 22, but the exterior water tap was shut off in Jan 2025 and remained off in 2026. The adjacent cobbled road is noisy, and the area attracts many walkers.

Large asphalted area. Toilet and rubbish bins in a small building. Water connection outside. It was open in September. A water thief may be needed, see photo. We did not stay overnight. It was busy because of the museum.Translating
