It is just a huge car park with an unattractive surface. The few spaces directly by the Schlei are okay. If you are self-sufficient and do not need the sanitary facilities, you have to decide for yourself whether the site is worth €20. Everything else costs extra. Its proximity to the city and restaurants is naturally a plus.✦Translating

Beautiful site with different pitches offering views of the Schlei, meadows, or terraces. It was full over the May 1st weekend, with little turnover (check-out at 12:00). Well located for the town and cycling tours. The only shame is that partying teenagers repeatedly blast music across the entire site—it is really annoying!✦Translating

Very nice site, staying beside the boats. Everything you need is nearby. The town is not far away, and bicycles would probably make exploring everything even better. Very clean and modern sanitary building, with a large pitch surrounded by many boats. There is a lot of activity on the grounds during the day because it is actually home to a small boatyard. At night it is really quiet. Perfectly fine for one or two days. Anyone who gets a pitch by the Schlei tends to stay longer. Everything is handled through machines. Beautiful site near the town centre. We were here in summer with 25 vehicles and it was absolutely packed. A real fight for the best pitches overlooking the Schlei, so we drove on. Now in winter, there is free choice of pitches in the front row. Electricity and showers are billed precisely by the kilowatt-second. Everything is very clean! Otherwise, the view of the Schlei is very beautiful. Kappeln is definitely worth a trip!✦Translating

A top motorhome site in the marina. Convenient payment system, excellent clean sanitary facilities, and water disposal and supply available. From the site, it is only a few minutes’ walk to the beautiful fish restaurants at the harbour and the charming little old town. Restaurant food here is relatively inexpensive. This site leaves nothing to be desired. We highly recommend it.

Absolutely recommended in the low season. From the upper plateau there is a beautiful view of the water and passing boats. The washroom is clean and well maintained. €20 for the pitch including Wi-Fi is absolutely reasonable. The harbour and shopping facilities are quickly reachable on foot.

First, the positives: the motorhome site is near the centre, and the toilets and showers are clean. Why only three stars? First, the site has 100 pitches but only three toilets and three men’s showers, which is far too few. Second, the pitches are not marked out, so you are packed together like sardines. Quantity over quality seems to be the priority here—what a shame. Fine for one night.

The site is as described. Shops, restaurants, and the town centre are easily reachable on foot. The pitches are not marked out, so you have to park with some common sense. It is a typical motorhome site, no more and no less.

Unfortunately, it is very loud at the moment. Several construction sites are nearby. There is also a lot of partying by the Schlei at night. What a shame.
