Unnamed Road, 69950, Kommane
Been here?
A quiet lakeside camping and picnic area with a toilet, rubbish bin, firewood, fire pits and a bathing beach. Motorhomes can drive between the birch trees toward the lake, but vehicles without 4x4 risk getting stuck in sand near the beach. Dogs are not allowed at the beach or lake.

A dream spot. We were completely alone and enjoyed the moonrise and sunrise. The water supply is excellent.
Beautiful place to spend the night, with a toilet, trash bin, fire pit, and swimming beach. But beware: dogs are not allowed on the beach or at the lake, and at the end of August or beginning of September many small, young common toads gather here (poisonous!!!). Therefore not a good choice with dogs. Very nice and practical without a dog.
We had nice quiet night. If you don’t have 4x4, don’t drive close to the beach, even though there are trails from cars visible. We almost got stuck in the sand.
Beautiful, peaceful lake. We were completely alone here. The gravel road is short and nice, just off the main road; this time there were no 10 km to the lake. In May there are no swarms of motorhomes. 26 degrees, water suitable for swimming.
Nice place, with a “closed” shelter where you can make a fire and an open shelter where you can also make a fire. We spent a quiet night with an incredible sunrise! Mosquitoes: 4/5.
