A lay-by beside the river on the A699, with space for 3-4 vehicles and views along the river to Kelso Bridge. The road is moderately busy, but the spot is reasonably quiet between 11pm and 6am and very peaceful between 8pm and 6am. It is within walking distance of Kelso's pubs and places to eat, and provides a base for visiting Floors Castle.

This is a lovely spot right by the river and very peaceful between 8pm and 6am and not too busy at other times.
Decent spot beside a moderately busy road, although reasonably quiet between 11pm and 6am. Nice view along the river to Kelso Bridge. Lovely walk into Kelso, where there are plenty of friendly pubs and eating places. Good base from which to visit Floors Castle.
