amazing place to stay. stopped here on the way to euro tunnel. 5 mins from the motorway. cafe open till 4pm. dog friendly very friendly staff and electric hookup if needed
Brilliant last resort, with an honesty box. But there is constant traffic until 10:30 p.m., then one vehicle a minute all night until 6 a.m., followed by constant traffic again. Not restful at all.
We've just spent the night at this lovely stop. The adjoining cafe is open until 4pm and you can buy fresh eggs and sausages all hours from the outdoor fridge. Also ehu at a small extra charge. This is a lovely relaxing site where you look out on free range chickens, goats and cows. We absolutely loved it here!
We stayed there last night lovely little spot, the owner was lovely and for a small fee you can buy fresh eggs and sausages from the little freezer in the car park. The goats and donkeys and little calf’s were all out in the folds beside us lovely little stop over and a small 6 min detour from the M1 heading back to Scotland.
Excellent place to stay.
On a farm with animals all around, flat level carpark with plenty of room and only 10 pounds. There is a fridge in the carpark with homemade sausages for 5,50 a bag and a box next to it with fresh eggs for 1,50 a half dozen with an honesty box to put the money in. Lovely place for a stopover, the café opens Thursday to Sunday, so we missed that as it was a Tuesday. Recommended 100%
Great access to M1. The owners are really lovely and accommodating. My son saw there were animals and she let him go and look at them and told us we could visit the donkeys in the opposite field. Good night's sleep.
Perfect stop close to the M1, with friendly owners.
Stopped here for the Boat show (Late May BHW). There's some shelter given by the trees, the hedge gives some privacy and takes out some of the road noise. Crick has a few decent pubs/restaurants, post office and a co-op.
This is a great stopover. It's the car park of a new cafe (only open thu to sun) and is next to the main road. there is a privacy hedge and there is a bit of road noise until later in the evening. The owner lives in the house behind the cafe and you knock on the door to pay. The canal is just over the bridge with great walks along the tow path. Perfect for dogs, but watch the chickens in the yard
