Quiet windmill parking, no waste disposal

One of our favorite spots in Portugal! Absolute peace and quiet, with an incredible view over the valley's vineyards and a small windmill adding charm. A responsive and friendly owner who even offered us the use of the shower inside. Dogs are allowed off leash. A little windy, but that is normal at this altitude. I love this place.

If you love peace and quiet, this is the right place. A pitch with a magnificent view of the vineyards next to a wonderful windmill. You may use the picnic table and swing sofa. The owner is very friendly and responds quickly to email inquiries. We spontaneously decided to spend a rest day here. Electricity and fresh water are available. Waste disposal is possible in nearby Turcifal. We would gladly return.

Excellent welcome, lovely view, peace and quiet, and the possibility of letting the dogs roam freely in the garden. All this less than 25 minutes from the beaches of Ericeira, which are renowned for surfing. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet!

Thank you, Luis, for letting us spend the night in this wonderful spot. Booking by email was very easy and confirmation came very quickly. We parked right next to the windmill. Great atmosphere with the swing and seating areas. Our dog was allowed to roam freely. The highlight was the beautiful sunset. We will return.

We received an immediate reply to our email. Luis warmly welcomed us in fairly good German. The view of the surroundings is magnificent. We also got a tour of the windmill, which was interesting. Remember that you cannot dispose of waste at Luis's place, but electricity and fresh water are available. Luis plans to change that soon. We will definitely return. Thank you, Luis.

This private camper site is located in a beautiful spot. Standing next to the windmill, you have a lovely view over the vineyards. You can also use the swing bench to enjoy it. Water and electricity are available. Luis is a friendly and helpful owner, also with tips for cycling and mountain-bike rides.

This pitch beside the old Portuguese windmill was simply fantastic. The view over the valley, especially at night with the sparkling lights of the small villages, was magical. The peace, nature, and pet-friendly surroundings made the stay perfect. We were given a very warm welcome and felt completely safe and comfortable—a place we can only recommend!

Such a beautiful spot!! Stayed for one night and fully charged the van which was becoming a bit of a worry travelling off grid for a while. Lovely views, and the host was nice.
